Each can contains 110 ml of conditioner. Review: Boots like new - I have had a set of Zamberlan boots I bought over 25 years ago. Used Hydrbloc waterproofing cream occasionally, but boots had become inflexible, less comfortable and leaked. Used this spray all over the boots and the results were amazing. Boots regained their flexibility and comfort. Followed up with waterproofing cream and they survived a wet Exmoor walk in comfort and without a leak. Wish I had ordered the spray as well as the cream before. Not cheap but less than new boots! Review: Hydrobloc versus NikWax - This works as described on my Zamberlan nubuck leather boots. It absorbs within about 5 minutes so applying the recommended two coats doesn't take long. The hydrobloc spray does not alter the the leather surface of the nubuck, which is good. In comparison to the most popular alternative nubuck waterproof treatment, NikWax Nubuck & Suede spray, Hydrobloc works just as well though it isn't the same stuff. The two products smells slightly different, which gives me the impression that the product formulas are not quite the same. Both products are a milky solution of similar consistency. NikWax has a smell similar to PVA wood glue, whereas Hydrobloc smells a little like an organic solvent odour I associate with new leather, even though it is clearly water-based and non-toxic. Neither smell unpleasant and the little that ended up on my hands hasn't caused any reactions. I deliberately bought my latest boots without a Gortex lining so the only water proofing comes from the factory hydrobloc treatment and the additional treatment I am applying. I don't expect the boots be as waterproof as wellingtons but I do expect them to withstand day long damp conditions. I will be applying the hydrobloc little and often. I will update this review if I find my boots don't live up to expectations.
