Toner Refill Powder Compatible for HP 201a CF400a CF401a CF402a CF403a Cartridge Used with Color Pro MFP M277dw M252dw M277 M252 Pinter (Without Tools)

My husband suggested trying to refill our HP LaserJet Pro toner cartridges, and it worked great! One downfall though, the bottles are filled with more toner than the cartridges can take. So, when I overfilled the magenta it made such a mess that I really thought I had ruined our printer! It was an explosion of toner throughout the printer and every printout was a mess. We cleaned and cleaned with spray-air and kept printing probably about 300 printouts until it finally started printing normal again.

The tools and instructions were exactly right for the printer, however rather than nice solid rubber plugs, it comes with an adhesive foil square sheet to cut covers out of. Opening, refilling, and sealing the cartridge was simple enough. The toner itself leaves something to be desired - so far I've only done the black cartridge, and the black is weak compared to stock toner. I'm guessing the toner power itself is generic rather than specific to this printer and requires different heat levels or something. Either way, a little faded look on my prints is really not that big of a deal compared to the cost of new HP branded toner.

This product was worthless. Couldn't use it. Directions were in some other language poorly translated into psudo-English. Directions made no sense-I couldn't follow them. Directions and pictures were unrelated to the cartidges I needed to fill.

Works very well, and you don't have to buy the expensive cartridges as often.

I wanted to add some extra life to my toner cartridges in my Epson printer. Filling the cartridges was easy as cake, as there is an access port already. It works mostly well, I do notice ghosting on the pages after about the third page. This may be due to the drums or fuser, or it could be that the toner formula doesn't work with the temperatures produced by the printer. I didn't want to replace the cartridges, as they are a drum and toner cartridge all in one, and replacing all four would cost more than what I paid for the printer initially. This is a good solution, if you don't mind a bit of print quality issues.

It’s fairly simple to refill but there should be better instructions on where to make the refill hole.

All I can say is WOW! It was a little messy, but it did the trick! Saved me over $200 at this point.

In description it was mentioned that ink will be enough for two to three times refilling but actually it is too low in quantity that first refill was not full.
