I normally don't post reviews but I had to for this product. # 1 - Product came in a timely manner and packed appropriately. # 2 - Product is great quality for the price. You find better for this cost. # 3 - You won't find better customer service. I bought 3 of these for my children's new 5S phones. We wanted something that would protect it but not bulky. I have spent money on the Lifeproof before and regretted it because my kids won't keep them on or hardly use them unless they are going somewhere they might really require it. For Everyday use this case works GREAT!! Plus its clear so the color of the phone shows which is nice. You can barely tell it has a case. Plus I would like to add, My daughter did accidentally scratch the case with her fingernail (keep in mind they are those acrylic ones & she had broken it so she had some weird sharp edge, anyways.) while putting it on. All I did was email the customer service and they sent me a case to replace hers. I would like to mention the other case still protected the phone and you barely see the tiny scratch he nail left, but it bugged her. I was really surprised that the company was so supportive to just immediately issue us a new case. Honestly, just the customer service alone I give it 5 stars, because lets face it Companies with Great Customer Service Departments are RARE!!!...but the fact that the product is really great too is icing on my cake!! I Highly recommend this product & will purchase again in the future if we want different colors. Thanks Army Case!!!

Some cases are big and bulky, some are practically like cling wrap but provide virtually no protection from drops. This case provides some drop protection (not bulletproof) and only adds a negligible few mm to the phone. It's made from firm, clear rubber that nonetheless has some give, making the phone easier to hold onto. The sides have a rounded bumper about 2mm thick that cushions falls somewhat and rounds out the iPhone 5's uncomfortably square edges so that it feels better in your hand. All edges and corners that would take the hit when dropped are covered. Importantly, there is a front lip that sticks out about 0.75 mm to protect the screen from scuffs & scratches when set face-down on a table. Ditto for the camera lens. This means that there's a slight ridge when you slide your finger off the screen, so don't buy if you expect your finger to slide off the screen unimpeded. Just mentioning because a few reviewers seem fussed by that. The back seems thick and tough enough to easily survive keys, etc. Fit is nice & tight, cutouts are accurate. 2 seconds to install. Side buttons work fine though slightly stiff, but acceptably so. The material is crystal clear when new, but I'm sure this kind of rubber will get slightly hazy over time.

I was reading about some people complaining about the on/off button and the case not being clear. The on/off button is very easy and the case clear as could be. Perhaps over time, the clearness may fade, but I don't think so. I ordered an identical case for my iPhone 5c and ordered the matte finish, which is not clear. My iPhone 5s is silver and I'll never understand why the cellphones are made so beautiful, but then you have to cover it with a case. My old case was hard, but very nice. That case was difficult to use and the power and volume buttons were hard to use. This case is clear, buttons are easy and best of all, I can see my beautiful phone. Good grip, as well. I recommend it, highly. OK, I was wrong about the power button, so I took away 1 star. However, this is still a great case and protects the phone. I know, because I accidentally dropped it at least 5-6 feet. My first review was posted the day I got it, and I had no problems turning it off and on. Being right handed I hold my phone in left hand and use the finger next to my thumb, to turn it on and off. No problem that way, but if I try and use the button in my right hand, or try and press it on a table, it is much harder. I suppose if it bothers anyone, you could cut it out, but really don't think it's that hard to get used to. I'd still give it 5 stars, but after reading about this in other reviews, I had to be honest. Honestly, it works great and provides protection, while allowing me to admire my silver iPhone.

I didn't understand how people can give negative reviews. It was simple. I ordered it, it came 1 day before the estimated arrival which was a big deal to me. It fits perfectly for my iPhone 5s. It is crystal clear as the description said and it does have the extra edges which protects the front of your phone. It doesn't interfere with the ports such as charging and earphones but the volumes were covered and lock button for protection which is good in my opinion. It is perfect and i don't see any damage. Although its silicone case it feels sturdy in the hand and i feel so much more at ease with my phone with this case than without it, it doesn't come off the phone too and lastly it shows the beauty of your iPhone.
