When my new set arrived I was shocked to realize I couldn't tell my old pair any my new pair apart!I love these things, they grip well are easy to open and close, and have just enough give without being open fully to use.Nice company, and a good product. I handwash these, so I'm not sure how they hold up in a dish washer........I bought these a few years ago. They're sturdy still, non rusted, the grips are still on.I love that you can pull the ring out to close the tongs, and a light tap will let them open again. I'll definitely purchase another set or two soon.Note I do not use the dishwasher to wash the tongs. But for pity's sake, why don't manufacturers realize by now that the head of a pair of tongs has to be angled for it to be maneuvered properly? A straight setup like this, when you're trying to turn a piece of food over, is awkward.
