Review: The Best Revolver Speed Loader I Have Ever Seen - I own both revolvers and autos but I consider myself a revolver guy. They just work and they work all the time. I've never had a malfunction with a revolver so I rely on them to keep me and my family safe. That said, over the last forty years I have purchased a plethora of speed loaders from name brand companies that never seemed to satisfy me or give me the absolute confidence they'd work when I needed them. This item came up on a search that I made some time ago. Since these are expensive I only ordered one for a five shot 38 special I like to carry just to see if I liked it. This is the most amazing, easy to use, reliably made speed loader I have ever used. Expensive yes. But what's your life or the life of a loved one worth when the chips are down? I liked it so much that I purchased two for my S&W 329PD 44 magnum. Like any equipment you have to practice with them. There is more to know and do with a speed loader for a revolver than with simply throwing a new clip in the grips of an auto. But as I said, I prefer revolvers and am willing to spend the time needed to be proficient. If your like me, you'll be glad you purchased these. They're great. ## Features - Reload your revolver in seconds with the proven 5 Star Twist Knob release system for fast, reliable cartridge release. - Simple mechanical rotating key securely retains cartridges and lets gravity do the work for smooth, consistent loading every time. - Precision CNC-machined from solid billet aluminum for exceptional durability and years of dependable performance - Aluminum twist knob provides a positive grip for quick, confident operation in any conditions. - Proudly made in the USA by 5 Star Firearms. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00MR9024G | | Best Sellers Rank | #32,574 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #33 in Gun Magazine Loaders | | Brand Name | 5 Star Firearms | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 4.8 out of 5 stars (566) | | Date First Available | December 9, 2014 | | Item Dimensions LxWxH | 1.38 x 3.5 x 4.25 inches | | Item Package Dimensions L x W x H | 10 x 6.5 x 1 inches | | Manufacturer | 5 Star Firearms | | Material | Aluminum | | Part Number | J235705000 | ## Images ![5 Star J2-357/38 Speedloader for Ruger LCR, S&W J-Frame, Charter Arms .38 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/510vcGW3jKL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just buy it!!! *by A***R on June 3, 2026* Excellent choice!!!
