So bear in mind that these tension bars are probably only really suitable for top of the keyway tension. They are made of super-hard steel which I have never had to worry about when applying serious tension. They mostly have a cutout for the insertion part, so they're not so suitable for bottom of keyway or particularly highly sprung padlocks, but you'd be using a right-angled wiper insert for that under most circumstances. These tension bars have allowed me to get into some very tough UK padlocks including Yale high-security where previously I couldn't get tension on the core.

Great Product Better Than Expected Item arrived quickly and suits my needs perfectly. The price made me a little weary along with some negative reviews, but I Would certainly recommend this product quality is excellent and I would certainly buy again.

Probably the best lock picking set I've bought off amazon so far. Expensive compared to the basic starter kits but these flat bars have made it easy to pick locks that I used to struggle with. Worth the money.

Picking locks works well can be used on top or bottom of key way.different thicknesses helps a lot .serrated ends helps stops slipping in the key way.

I had a cheap non branded set of tension bars before and while i was able to pick most of my practice locks, there was a small S&L padlock that i could not pick due to ill fitting tension bars. After receiving these i was able to pick it and all the other locks in my collection almost right away.

Arrived quickly. give it a quick test today when they arrived. works great can't fault them. Plenty of different sizes for different locks they are a must have! Very nice finish on them.

Lockpicking ist eins meiner Hobbies, bei dem ich allerdings noch ziemlich unbedarft bin :-). Multipick ist eine deutsche (also europäische) Firma, die für den professionellen Einsatz in Schlossereien etc. produziert, und natürlich auch, wo das wichtig ist, für europäische Schlösser, die oft engere Sperrkanäle haben, als anderswo. Die Werkzeuge gibt es bei Multipick daher z.B. auch in flacheren oder sonstwie angepassten Dimensionen. Auf dem US-Markt sicher auch, aber da muss man suchen, und bei Amazon kaufen ist viel einfacher. Diese Spanner decken mit 0,6 bis 1,2 mm und verschiedenen Profilen alles ab (naja, die stellen noch einige weitere Typen her). Die jeweilige Dicke ersieht man auf den Produktfotos zwar nicht (warum?), aber im Video - da ist das eingraviert, und so auch bei meiner Lieferung. Bei den diversen Einsteigersets ist sowas in der Regel nicht dabei, sondern nur die üblichen L-förmigen, obwohl Spanner nicht weniger wichtig sind, als die eigentlichen Picks. Diese hier sind für "TOK" ausgelegt, was für "top of the keyway" steht: Bei doch einigen Schlössern verlegt oder erschwert man sich den Zugang für die Picks, wenn man den Spanner orthodox unten einführt. Solche TOK-Spanner sind von der Konstruktion her schon eine andere Herausforderung, als die vergleichsweise simplen "Ls", die man mit ein Bisschen Geschick auch selbst basteln kann. Solche TOK-Spanner gibt's auch anderswo um ein Viertel des Preises im Set, aber das hier ist, soweit ich das beurteilen kann, Profiqualität, von der Konstruktion bis zur Materialqualität, sogar das Etui ist Echtleder :-). So, jetzt habe ich lange und breit gebrabbelt, aber es war mir halt ein Bedürfnis, weil ich damit so viel Freude habe, danke für's Lesen :-).

Un kit de tenseurs d'une grande qualité, très bien finis. Les différents tenseurs ont une épaisseur qui leur est propre, que l'on peut lire sur le manche. Les épaisseur vont de 1.2mm (rigide), à 0.6mm (souple). Cette forme permet de conserver de la place pour insérer les crochets, dès lors que l'on sait comment les placer. C'est différent des tenseurs classiques du type lamelle pliée, mais ils sont incontournables à mes yeux. Par contre ils sont difficilement utilisables en tenant les cadenas/serrures dans la main tout en appliquant la tension, prévoyez un support comme un étau de table (sinon le tenseur risque de sauter et vous allez le prendre dans le nez).
