Consider this an intermediate skill assembly job. This rolling drawer is a case of forewarned = forearmed. If I had not read reviews here and known what to expect, I'd have been annoyed.Pros:* When properly assembled, this is a decently sturdy set of storage drawers* Pine, not particle board, construction. Back/bottom panels are MDF* Fits under my vintage drafting table* Doubles as a printer cart* Drawers will easily hold a ream of printer paper, and other craft/drawing supplies.* Pre-finished honey colored stainPrecautions:* The instructions advise against glue, but for a sturdy finished product, you'll need it.* If gluing, be certain that everything is square and properly fitted - dry fit before gluing* For the best assembly assume you will need additional tools: (Drill and bits, wood glue, rubber/plastic mallet, a metal file, carpentry square)* Could use some more finishing nails for the rear panel and drawer bottoms.Cons:* The pine is thin - its recommended to drill pilot holes for the screws to avoid splitting the wood.* Drawer rails needed some modificationOther thoughts:When gluing, I checked that the assembled pieces were square. Otherwise, the drawers might stick a bit.The nylon/plastic/whatever drawer rails. The instructions say to tap them in with a rubber mallet, but not all of them lined up with the predrilled holes. The first one that didn't I tapped too hard, and the rail split. Any others that didn't line up, I had to file down the sides of the peg for the second hole so I could get them in. I glued those puppies in too. ### ⭐ Too Many Broken Parts to Overcome *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2018* I bought two of these units. In the box of the first unit, I found that one drawer side was broken, but I made it work. Then I found that one of the bigger drawer fronts had the slot cut in the wrong location for the drawer bottom to fit. Again, I made that work although it's not ideal. Then, I opened the box to the second unit, and I don't think there are more than two drawer pieces that are NOT broken. Don't chance buying one of these units...just don't do it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Value / Bad Wheels *by B***W on Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2018* Great value here. I bought this to help organize my shop space. Other reviews have talked about the difficulty of assembly. Having worked in cabinet shops I found it easy. If you don’t have tools or tool skills just ask someone for help and it’s not bad.I would recommend using a drill with a Phillips bit to start the screws. Set the clutch low and finish each screw by hand. It will save your hands some work but still avoid stripping a hole or splitting the wood.My only complaint is the drawer backs are not slotted for the bottom panels. You have to nail in a couple small finish nails. Seems pretty silly considering it’s the bottom of the drawers. Cut a channel and make the backs the same height as the sides.The other complaint I have is the side cracked despite the care I was taking to not drive the screws all the way with a drill.The casters are garbage.
