Broadcast spread this Lesco seed in 1 afternoon, watered it each evening (although many recommend 2x a day), and it sprouted green within 5 (five) days. At first I could barely make out the sprouts, but then within the 10-day mark I had 2" growth. 4 weeks in now - I have a good 5". May be related to my soil, but this grass seems very fragile compared to the native Bluegrass in the area. It seems very thin, but hoping after winter and spring it will thicken and strengthen. On most of area I had thin layer of topsoil coving it but also used it in several areas by just raking up soil & dead grass, spreading seed, and then re-raking. Of course the top soil covered areas grew in thickest but other areas did fine ( took about 10 days longer ). Had minor amount of weeds ( a broadleaf type ) that died when weed killer applied to the small isolated spots. Grass came in very thick and green this fall.
