As for now there is a trade off that buyers should be aware of and that is that these sticks require you to use the thumb-stick provided, it doesn’t screw on like the factory sticks instead it pushes on directly. It makes me concerned that it will come off during gameplay. This also takes away the ability to swap out the magnet sticks this controller comes with so there is no more stick customization what comes with this pack is what you get. In my opinion this is a fair trade for never getting stick drift again if the advertised feature is to be believed but once again time will tell. As for installation, this is not something that the average Joe should try you need at least basic soldering equipment and knowledge. If you don’t have that take it to a local repair shop and ask about possibly installing these for you. In conclusion so far these sticks are great after recalibration and I will be buying again for more controllers in the future.
