As a first-time drone owner, I could not be happier with this purchase. I was a bit nervous about flying for the first time, but this drone made it incredibly easy. I went from unboxing it to having it up in the air in less than an hour. The flight controls are super intuitive. It feels very stable in the air and responds quickly to commands. I was also pleasantly surprised by how well it handles the wind; even with a steady breeze, it holds its position perfectly. The only minor downside is that I wish it included a built-in "follow me" tracking feature. However, considering the price, image quality, and how reliable it is, that is a very small trade-off. Whether it's your first or one of many drones, you can't go wrong with this one. I highly recommend it.

I researched drones for about 3 months before I settled on one to buy and this is the one I chose. it's a chunk of money to throw down the drain so buy the toy insurance for it when you buy the drone in case of an accident.Haven't had any issues or regrets on this purchase. by far one of the best buys I have made in my life. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a drone and you're new to the game. I have had no issues with signal loss or range limitations at the 2000 feet I pushed it out to. Dji is definitely the right choice for entry level guys like myself. Mini 4k is so totally worth it.im already looking to but the next level up from dji not to mention some accessories The pimp My DJI that I already owned. I recently got the DJI Mini 4K and I’m honestly impressed with how much performance they packed into such a small and lightweight drone. This is my first drone, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way I cared about most: camera resolution, speed, and especially its portability thanks to the ultra-light weight and compact size. First off, the camera is fantastic for a drone in this price range. It shoots crisp 4K UHD video at 30fps with a 3-axis gimbal that keeps everything super smooth and stable, even when there’s a bit of wind. The colors are vibrant, details are sharp, and it handles sunsets, landscapes, and everyday scenes beautifully. You also get 12MP photos and up to 4x digital zoom. For travel vlogs, family trips, or just capturing beautiful aerial views, the footage looks professional without any complicated setup. I also love the speed and flight performance. In Sport mode, it moves quickly and responsively (up to about 36 mph / 57 km/h max), making it fun to fly while still feeling controllable. The Level 5 wind resistance keeps it steady in breezy conditions, and the 10km video transmission gives you plenty of range to explore. Flight time is up to 31 minutes per battery, which is more than enough for most sessions (real-world is usually 25-28 minutes depending on conditions). But what I love the most is the weight and size. At just 246g (under 249g), it’s incredibly portable — it folds up small enough to fit in a backpack or even a jacket pocket. This means no FAA registration or Remote ID required for recreational flying in the US, which is a huge plus. Whether I’m hiking, traveling, or just heading to the park, I can take it anywhere without hassle. The foldable design is clever and the build quality feels solid. The DJI Fly app is beginner-friendly with helpful tutorials, QuickShots for cinematic clips, and easy Return-to-Home safety features. It’s perfect if you’re starting out but still want high-quality results. A couple of small notes: there’s no obstacle avoidance (so you need to fly carefully), and battery life is advertised at 31 minutes but expect a bit less in real use. Overall though, these are minor for what you get at this price. so i wanted to write this review to say, that for the price point and size of this drone, it is by far better than the knock off drones that are on the market trying to measure up to DJI. i have not gotten fully experience the drone in a open area to test out the range that is claimed on the description, but i can say in an area that is surrounded by tall tree, this drone keeps a very good connection to my drone and runs the video to my device (phone in my case) with 98% consistancy. i would not call the a beginner drone, i have years of experience flying radio control airplanes that did help with picking up the drone and flying, although there was still a learning curve. so if you are brand new to drones be warned this drone may be a little difficult at first to learn for you, but it is not an impossible to fly drone for a beginner. as for the price range of close to $350 (which is still cheap for what this drone can do) video quality is excellent in my opinion (wont be doing professional videos) and zoom features are far supior to cheaper drones. so to sum this all up, can a beginner fly this drone, yes. but i would say to be cautious as it will not be considered an easy drone for a new pilot. the only complaint i have, is the first setup with the drone and my phone was not easy and it was fustrating to get it connected, but over all it took me about 20 minutes to figure it out and get it working so once that was completed, there were no more issues with the drone connections to my phone. This drone does require a micro SD card to store videos and photos, it does not directly save to your device, although you do have the option to download it to your device once you are done recording or taking your photos.

This drone is hands down the best I’ve ever owned (and I’ve has about 11 now) in terms of quality, stability, reliability, and battery life, it’s top-notch. The only two cons I can mention are: 1. It’s a bit tricky to turn on and off 2. It once went a bit haywire (I’m not sure if it was due to poor satellite reception or not). The drone wouldn’t shut off or land properly, even after I pressing “land.” I even tried holding down the power button (as it was pulling away at full speed, while also trying not to lose my fingers).. Overall, it’s incredibly powerful and performs exceptionally well in windy conditions, especially for how light weight and small it is, takes great pics and videos, good gps, good value, but I wouldn’t let a young child use it. 😬

Very nice drone but for beginners I wish the color was maybe orange or red so I can see it far away because when you're flying you don't want to keep your eyes off it. Because Gray and so small palm size it hard to see far away. But it is very responsive and when you look through the camera the pictures are fabulous. The battery life going slow is about 30 minutes if you drive it real fast it's around 20. Now for the fun fact I actually lost it to some trees the woods it show me exactly where it was I just wish the beeping was a little loud so I could have found it quicker but it worked like a champ I highly recommend it the map will take you to last place it stopped.Will lead you to right to it you just usually have to look up. Then in my case climb tree for about 3 ft and there was.

I’ve been really enjoying flying this drone. I’m not a pro but the flight guidance and operation is very straightforward. I added an aftermarket lighted landing platform to raise unit a little higher off the ground. Would recommend two batteries for decent flight times. Really glad I chose the DJI brand!

This drone is amazing. New hobbyist here and my first one was not very good, it helped me to learn the basics which I strongly encourage. Once you are comfortable get a nice one and this drone is fantastic. 4k video is as advertised. I've transmitted video over 1000 ft totally uninterrupted. Claims 10K feet but I've yet to fly that distance. Thank you DJI for a truly authentic and rewarding drone experience

Franchement, le DJI Mini 4K m’a vraiment surpris pour un drone de cette gamme. On est sur un modèle ultra compact, moins de 250 grammes, donc super pratique à transporter et surtout très simple à utiliser, même quand on débute. Ce qui m’a marqué en premier, c’est la qualité vidéo. La 4K est propre, nette, avec de belles couleurs, et surtout une stabilisation vraiment efficace grâce à la nacelle 3 axes. Même avec un peu de vent, les images restent fluides et exploitables, ce qui est assez impressionnant pour un drone aussi léger. Côté pilotage, c’est hyper accessible. Le décollage se fait en un clic, le retour automatique fonctionne très bien, et globalement on se sent vite en confiance. C’est clairement un drone pensé pour les débutants, mais qui permet déjà de faire des images vraiment propres. L’autonomie est aussi correcte : on tourne autour de 25 minutes en conditions réelles, ce qui laisse largement le temps de faire plusieurs prises sans stress. Et puis il y a tous les petits modes automatiques comme les QuickShots qui permettent de faire des plans stylés sans être un expert. Pour créer du contenu rapidement, c’est un vrai plus. 👉 En résumé, le DJI Mini 4K est un excellent choix si tu veux te lancer dans la vidéo aérienne sans te compliquer la vie. Il offre un super rapport qualité/prix, une prise en main rapide et des résultats vraiment satisfaisants dès les premiers vols.

I bought this for my husband to look around our acreage to take pictures and stuff and it's a buy I'm very happy with. I don't normally write reviews but today I am because living in Canada and he took it out this morning and it was -30 and it flew with no problem. He says it's easy for beginners because that's exactly what he is he's never had 1 or not even a gamer so learning the controller was easy. If you are considering on buying this drone do yourself a favor and go for it you won't be disappointed and hey if you do get a dud return it unfortunately there are some that will get dropped or thrown during delivery so it may not work right.
