Honestly I bought it for its transparent cute glittery case but im not playing it at all. I left it on time settings so the baby doesn’t die.

I bought this for my 7yo daughter for her bday and she loves it. She wears it with a lanyard around her neck. The only thing we don't like about it is that it isn't backlit, so when it beeps to indicate something like food or medicine, and it is dark, you can't see the screen and need to go to a well-lit area to see it. Other than that, we like it. Came on time. Packaging was fine. Great product. I would buy a different one if we buy again, if we can find one that is backlit.

I didn’t have the connections back in the day but I had the originals in the 90s. The gameplay is pretty much the same. The quality of the plastic is not as good as they used to be. Mine has a molding defect on the antenna. After using the newer color tamagotchis, this is just okay. I can’t believe the screen is still so tiny and hard to see after 20 years. They could have at least given us a backlit screen? These are only really for nostalgia or a cheaper virtual pet option. The newer color tamagotchis are way more fun and will hold engagement for way longer.

I was pretty surprised when my 12 year old asked for one of these for her birthday. Didn’t think they were still around, but we found it here. She’s been playing with it since April and just loves it. Pretty cool.

Preordered the Pink Glitter Tamagotchi and was given an estimated delivery of January 20, but the item didn’t arrive until January 24. Love it otherwise!
