It connected easily to my new Mini, and the computer saw it right away. I was able to partition it with no problem and it has proven, so far at least, to be quite a workhorse and incredibly fast. Recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It worked as it should since day 1 *by M***L on May 13, 2021* While this is a mechanical rotating disk, and you can feel it vibrating slightly, it is performing well for now. I would suggest anyway take special care of not moving the unit while working with it. Even after turning off, it takes sometime to stop spinning, so leave it at rest as a precaution. I could very easily reformat the drive to the newest APFS Apple format, which I wanted to do just from the beginning. I backed up the software for Windows it came with as a precaution, and deleted the small partition that came in.
