But storms she shakes, hides, holds open her mouth like a screaming banshee etc. This stuff helps a lot. I also put a thundershirt on her and try to give her some of this a little before the storm hits. She is still a little uptight but it makes her calm enough to be much more tolerable and healthy for her. I play some dog calming music on youtube for her as well and it all helps. This is the best calming stuff of the ones I have tried and I can just squirt one pump on my finger and she will lick it off, even when uptight. Which is important because she normally won't eat a treat or anything during storms and this she will and I can get in her system to start working. My dog is EXTREMELY anxious to the point of needing medication too.
