So far so good. Battery is working good and holding a full days worth of charging.

Worked perfectly. The install was easy. The best part was the screw guide that’s included, I knew where all the screws went to. Didn’t have to set them up in a way to remember the guide board was awesome. I did a Nintendo after and wished I had one for it.

Installed in my wife's phone. Comes with a complete tool kit, but the instructions seemed to reference another phone model (not the iphone X). Make sure you cross reference with several good YouTube videos. My wife's phone would be dead by morning, and I was hoping this battery would restore its performance. Well, now if the phone is at 100% charge when she turns in, it will be at 50% by morning. Not exactly the performance I was expecting. I have replaced many phone and Ipad batteries and this has been the weakest replacement battery by far. Quite disappointed. I was hoping all these different batteries were all the same so I gambled by buying the cheapest one. I lost. Buy one of the more expensive units that cost $25-$30.

Taking the original battery out took some effort, but putting this new one in was super easy. It brought my phone back to life and holds a full charge better than ever.

I bought this on May 12, 2025, but just installed the battery on 6/19/2026. The new battery was still charged to 51% after starting the I-Phone 8 Plus up. This was unexpected, but glad about that. I have changed I-Phone batteries in the past and also have viewed a lot of videos on changing batteries. Changing batteries in I-Phones is really not that difficult, but you must be ready to encounter problems especially when the pull tabs to remove the old battery all broke off. Prying the battery out without damaging the phone is a pain. One has to be patient. Changing batteries out is not a rush job. This kit was well stocked with a cardboard template to put the screws in it to keep them in the proper location. The screws are not the same size and need to go back into the same hole from where it was removed. What could be improved in this kit is to include an aluminum plate to assist and removing the screen and a bigger and more substantial plastic pry stick. I used both of these tools from my old I-phone replacement kit. Overall, I would buy batteries from EFaithFix again, but I may change my mind in the future depending on the life and functioning of this new battery.

I installed it about 3 months ago and it’s been working great. I recommend this product very much.

A piece of the connector broke off, and it acts like it doesn't want to charge

iPhone 12 Pro Max Battery and tool kit 5600mAh. I replaced this battery for the first time in this phone. The original battery health was at 72% when I replaced. It’s a notable difference in capacity and use time. I’ve done a few of these batteries in older iPhones; SE gen 1, SE Gen 2, X but this is a tougher swap. A strait edge razor blade is needed to separate the glass. The kit came with everything needed. Also included was a screw mat that I’d not had in other battery “kits” and it was helpful. The phone gives the “Not Genuine Part” at start-up and the heath data is supposedly inaccurate. What I know is that I used to use 300-400% of capacity a day, now it’s closer to 100%. You have to solder on a used (or new Apple) battery control module to avoid the above. Delivered the next day. Less than $20 for a phone refresh was worth it. I don’t believe Wouldn’t recommend to beginners.
