Review: Makes a great HOT chai latte!! - I love chai tea lattes...both hot and cold. I normally buy another brand liquid concentrate, but while on vacation had an amazing hot chai latte at a little hole in the wall before entering a state park. They told me this was the brand they used. I ordered it right away. It takes a 1/3 cup of mix per drink and it mixes pretty easily. After trying it both hot and iced, I have to say I am not a fan of it cold. I don't know how to explain it except the warmth of the spice in it tastes better warm than cold. Like maybe it's a little too thick...idk. Obviously, that is a personal preference. I will say I love it hot!! So now I use this for my hot lattes and my old liquid one for my iced ones.

**Q: How much caffeine in each serving? I saw on ad that said 99% caffeine free and another that said 65 mg.**
A: 65mg per scoop in the regular (current listing). 15mg per scoop in the 'decaf', which is 99% caffeine-free *by weight* - caffeine doesn't weigh much compared to sugar. That said, I find the regular delightful for a lunchtime boost, and the decaf is great as an evening drink to keep me going for just a few hours longer.

**Q: What is the difference between big train "chamba chai spiced tea" and "chai tea spiced" (the 4# jug and the 3.5# bag)?**
A: Only the name and the price. Big Train Chamba and and Big Train Spiced Chai were for two different markets, Chamba was mainly directed to Costco.

**Q: How would i go about brewing it? Is it just powder or should i get a tea infuser?**
A: Stir the water into the powder as you add it, don’t wait to start stirring because the powder just floats on top if you don’t stir them together from start to finish. Using the Keurig, you have to stand right there until the water starts coming out, tilt the cup (with the powder in it) and start stirring immediately. It blends in better this way.

I love chai tea lattes...both hot and cold. I normally buy another brand liquid concentrate, but while on vacation had an amazing hot chai latte at a little hole in the wall before entering a state park. They told me this was the brand they used. I ordered it right away. It takes a 1/3 cup of mix per drink and it mixes pretty easily. After trying it both hot and iced, I have to say I am not a fan of it cold. I don't know how to explain it except the warmth of the spice in it tastes better warm than cold. Like maybe it's a little too thick...idk. Obviously, that is a personal preference. I will say I love it hot!! So now I use this for my hot lattes and my old liquid one for my iced ones.

I use about a teaspoon in my coffee and it is good. I have found I don't enjoy it alone with hot water. It smells and tastes excellent.
