Review: My burn is healing faster than with anything else I've tried - This stuff is pretty amazing. I ordered a TON of stuff to deal with a severe second degree burn I got on my arm from a hot baking pan. The wound got infected and I had to go antibiotics and everything. Nothing was healing the wound and I was having a hard time with that slough material that kept developing (necrotic tissue that forms in the wound bed and has to be debrided for the wound to heal. I tried all kinds of things but found this product healed the wound faster than anything else I tried. It also didn't stick to the wound when I would change out the dressing like most other things I tried. It's a bit messy to work with (it's really saturated), but I will always keep these on hand if I get burned again. It not only sped up the healing but it was extremely cooling and soothing to the wound. If I could only have one thing on hand for burns, this would be it.

I didn't realize how bad my burn was until I came to work, so I wanted to see if these pads worked. I applied the pad to the top of my burn, then wrapped the area in gauze, leaving it on for most of the day. The pad cooled the burn area, but I didn't feel the pain of the burn all day when I removed the gauze at the end of the day; the moist burn pad was dry, and my wound was able to heal the rest of the day and night on its own and without any pain or problems. We always recommend seeing medical advice for more severe burns, but this pad worked for quick iron burns.
