Makes Mealtime a Treat
Just discovered these small strips/chunks of LID meat. Two of my cats are allergic to chicken (poultry) and fish. That eliminates 99% for cat food for them since even if it's not listed as an ingredient, chicken is frequently hidden as "natural flavoring"--I can tell by my cats' itching afterwards. The only food that they eat has been Instinct Limited Ingredient Diet (LED) (rabbit) for a year or two. These food toppers change it from being a boring food to one the cats actually like. I don't use it as a topper, but as a layer under scoops of the Instinct LID (rabbit) canned food. I mix it all up together. They love it!

It turned by cat into an addict
One of my cats thinks this is the best food ever made. I appreciate that I can buy it in bulk and get it delivered. This particular flavor is not easy to come by anymore.

Great limited ingredient topper or treat!
This is a great addition to my cat's meal rotation. She has food allergies and can only eat limited ingredient food, but all of the wet options are pate so I was happy to find this which is cuts in gravy. It's important to note this is NOT considered a complete meal, but it works great as an addition to some of her meals on the side or as a topper to give her variety. She loves this and gets so excited anytime she sees me grab a pouch - anytime she has this, she licks her bowl clean. I would love for Instinct to make a cut or shredded limit ingredient cat food that is a complete and balanced meal, but I'm happy to at least have this so my girl doesn't get bored!

Gray normally just licks the gravy from other cat food and leaves the meat portion...but with this food, he eats every morsel!

What Cats Crave and Not What They Don’t Need
Cats crave meat they don’t need potatoes corn or other carbs so limited ingredient foods should be void of those fillers yet the only cat food that I’ve found which truly is LIMITED INGREDIENT is Instinct Limited Ingredient. My rescue cats won’t eat pate or canned food unless it’s this brand. They will claw my leg to a bloody mess when they see the pouches of rabbit in my hands. Rabbit is a pure protein for them. Their coats are so shiny and they’re never sick. Because this is called a “topper” and doesn’t have the Taurine for cats needs, I supplement with Stella and Chewys Freeze Dried Raw Rabbit or Turkey or Salmon. These cats eat cleaner and better than we do but it’s worth it!

Cat likes it, but it doesn't like her
My cat has IBD and we've been trying a dry RX food, but she's losing muscle mass so she needs more protein supplementation somehow. Everything I've read says to avoid poultry, so I got this rabbit limited ingredient. She's thrown up other wet foods. This one apparently makes her throw up too.
