It's easy to open and close, very compact when folded, nice and solid when opened and stood upon. The instructions say not to stand with just one foot on it, for some reason. Standing on it with both feet (necessarily close together) doesn't feel steady to me, no more than standing on flat concrete with both feet very close together would. I normally stand with my feet separated by my shoulder width. I solved that problem by getting a second one, after trying the first. Now I can put one foot on each, spaced so my feet are in their usual (separated) stance. Much better! Feels much steadier that way, to me at least.

This folding step stool has been much more useful than I expected. It’s lightweight enough to carry around the house with one hand, yet it feels very sturdy and stable when standing on it. The purchased 13-inch stool in April 2024 (was $19.99 with $4 rebate) was an almost perfect replacement to an accidentally forgotten perfect stool left at an away game. The forgotten perfect stool was over 5 years old, and it was gone when I went back to attempt to retrieve it, even with my name and cell phone on it. Anyway, the images of my 13-inch folding stool that I purchased months ago is not the same that is being sold now (see August 2024 image with cutout holes). The April purchased stool has solid side panels (as shown with pointing ruler) with no cut old holes. Several years ago, a basketball player ran towards me and managed to partially step into the cut-out hole and broke the side hinge panel. Back then, replaced the broken stool with the perfect stool with solid panels and continuous hinges. A perfect stool for sports photographer needs to be sturdy and take abuse when a player charges out of bound to attempt to retrieve or catch the ball. The side hinge should be a solid panel with no hole cut outs and the hinge must be continuous. similar to the corner hinges. Since my April 2024 purchase, I am pleased, but I would rather have a continuous piano-like hinge on the side that can take abuse around a basketball court, soccer sideline or football end zone. The 13-inch height is sturdy for my weight and perfect for sitting a couple hours during a sporting event without sitting on the floor or damp ground with aging knees and hips. It is also the perfect sitting height without blocking the view of spectators in the stands that are behind the photographer. The stool that is able to fold is perfect for carrying around with other heavy photographic gear. I have also used it as a true step stool to get extra height to get overhead shots with no problem. As a suggestion to the manufacturer, please bring back the solid side panel with continuous side hinge, similar to the corner continuous hinges, and market to sports photographers. This step ladder is very stable, easy to put away and not add to clutter, and the height advantage makes it easier for painting walls, reach pantry goods, etc. I love that it supports my weight over 200 lbs. It actually is used as a side table for a few items, i.e., lotion, tissue box, etc.

A friend recommended this stool to me as the stool I've been using is unsteady. Using it was an accident waiting to happen so on her recommendation I bought this stool. I absolutely love it! It's my favorite color and there were different color choices. It's a great height for me. But best of all it is very steady even on uneven floors. It is extremely easy to use. You merely press the handle down flat and the stool is strong enough to support your weight. Although I personally pull the sides out first to make sure they are locked into place. I did try it once without locking the sides into place and it held my weight with no wobbling but to ensure safety I usually lock it into place before stepping on it. To unlock it you merely lift the handle up and it comes right up already folded back in place to set where ever you store it. It's perfect. Plus it's pretty and light weight so it's easy to move from room to room, if needed. I'm so glad my friend recommended this stool to me and now I will be recommending it to others myself.

These stools are low cost and are good for stepping and sitting both indoors and out. I bought a black one a year ago which collapses on one side (still usable with effort). Still, I bought another stool for the laundry room with a stackable washer dryer. The stool is good for sitting and removing clothes from the washer and good for standing and reading the dryer settings. I also bought a 9 inch version which is too low for sitting but good and safer for standing. I like these models. Light weight, easy to fold and store. Cost effective. Only question is the durability. Let's see how durable the latest ones perform.

Antes de este compré 4 o 5 para mi bebé y solo duraban un mes máximo, 4 meses después sigue en perfecto estado. Lo único, tengan cuidado con los niños al plegar y desplegar, hay gran posibilidad de que se atrapen los dedos. Un poco de cuidado debería bastar.

Super buena calidad! Llevamos mucho tiempo usándolo y ha servido mucho. Es súper resistente.
