We use ours for stage display. Mac to BMD, SDI out to stage displays, and HDMI out to another monitor next to the Mac showing the same stage display. **Q: Can i use 1 hdmi to sdi out and 1 sdi in to hdmi out simultaneously?** A: Yes. You can also just give it one input and have 3 outputs, either SDI in and 1 SDI and 2 HDMI outputs of the signal, or HDMI in and 1 HDMI and 2 SDI outputs. Know that if your HDMI input is interrupted, the SDI output will start passing through the SDI input. Similarly if the SDI input is interrupted, the HDMI output will start passing the HDMI input through. Also, I've had problems with these units introducing digital distortion on the audio.
