Thumbstick with my preferred height and resistance
I’ve been using the Thurstmaster ESWAP X Pro controller on and off for years. The default thumbsticks are good, but they are raised and have little resistance. This thumbstick module has the standard (Xbox X/S, Xbox 360, PS4/5) thumbstick height and a resistance comparable to the Xbox 360 ones. If you were unhappy with your ESWAP and something just didn’t feel right with your thumbsticks, this may fix your issue and make your ESWAP your favorite controller.

DO NOT BUY FOR ROCKET LEAGUE
I have tried to use Thrustmasters for years, I have gone through more than 6 of these. Out of the box they feel great, they are comfortable for my hands (I tried PS4 I can't get used to those tiny controllers). The issue is they simply are not viable for competitive Rocket League because of the following issue: Joystick Input Jitter (phantom joystick inputs) a game breaking problem, ALL of the controllers have had this. I have captured it with the on-screen overlay mid game where the Thrustmaster will put in the wrong joystick direction for a full second out of nowhere, this is game breaking. When I sent the video (I captured a IRL feed of my controller and hand pushing one direction on the joystick while the in-game overlay and gameplay were given the wrong direction, a pain to set up) Thrustmaster support told me to pound sand and capture it on Gamepad tester. This is after I have already swapped out maybe 4 or 5 times with their support for other problems. Other problems I had on different controllers: Double input on a single press of "A" button, frequent USB disconnect and controller vibration for 10 seconds straight (never figured out this one) Left bumper button gets flimsy with use, a really cheap piece of plastic that is poorly designed. Tons of problems with joystick replacements, its like rolling a dice every time. If you are looking for a controller for Rocket League, there is a reason all pros use playstation dualshock. If you are like me and grew up on Xbox before they became complete trash, I think Xbox 360 controller is honestly best bet since Xbone controllers are trash too.

My new go-to controller for PC gaming
This Thrustmaster controller is my first really high-end controller - and I think it is great. I am used to the regular Xbox wireless controllers, however I have gone through so many of them that I ended up getting cheap wired controllers for gaming. This Thrustmaster controller is a high-end wired controller. I use this controller primarily for PC gaming. For console gaming I prefer a wireless controller but, with my PC, I prefer a controller connected via USB - so the USB connection is a plus for me. The controller feels very solid. It has a nice weight (322g/0.71lb) to it and it appears to be well made. The controller t is not huge, but it is on the larger side. I have larger hands and it is very comfortable for me to hold. I like the size of this controller a lot. The side hand grips feel nice and the buttons, thumb sticks, and triggers are all responsive and feel great. The modularity and hot swap replacement capability is unique and nice to have. I don't game competitively and I only use standard controller functions, so I am not concerned about the extra buttons and functionality this controller offers. I have several Xbox-style controllers, none of which I really like because they are cheap. Xbox-style controllers, for whatever reason, frequently break for me (from use, not abuse). I find that cheap wired controllers last just as long as the official core controllers. This Thrustmaster controller is a nice controller and I hope it lasts a long time. The controller isn't cheap, but if it ends up lasting a long time then it's worth it to me. Right now, the Thrustmaster ESWAP X 2 PRO is holding up great and it is my favorite controller.

QC did not check!
Great working controller but I do not know how it passed QC. When I put the controller in profile 1, the LED for profile 2 comes on. When I put the controller in profile 2, NO LED COMES ON

Just Unboxed...looks good.
I had a controller stick go drifting on my ESWAP X Pro controller. Fortunately, I had bought the controller with stick replacement in mind as I know actuator parts in the original controller wear down over time. My initial test using HardwareTester. com website showed no drift whatsoever with the new control module. I believe it will last longer than the stock control sticks because of the change to H.E.A.R.T. magnetic sensor acutators. That means the actuator parts should not rub together which leads to wear over time. Otherwise, I am pleased with the replacement of foam cushioning with cardboard inserts. The packaging is near entirely recyclable, just a couple of plastic stickers and a plastic hang tag. The cardboard insert has perforated finger tabs to make it easier to remove the control module which is a nice touch. Post-unboxing: I have been using the controller for three days now. The new control modules are working well so far. I will update this review if anything changes.

How to Fix the Jitters!
I've had 6 thrustmaster controllers & worn through about 8-10 mini sticks playing rocket league. I loved the idea of hall effect sticks because I wouldn't have to keep buying new sticks once drift develops. These have ZERO drift, but as another reviewer mentioned, it can jitter, making rocket league unplayable. This was driving me crazy, but I found a 98% fix: 1. reset the sticks via the software (and hard reset if you have an x2 / x pro controller) & ensure your firmware is up-to-date 2. use the "square" deadzone (this eliminates most of the problems vs. the circular deadzone) via the thrustmapper software 3. Increase center deadzone to 5% (via thrustmapper software) 4. Increase in-game deadzone by 1-2% (the combination of hardware + software + square deadzone adjustments evens out 98% of issues) Now rocket league is playable with zero drift after ~6mo of use (normally I'll get drift after 1-2 months... yeah, I play too much) and the jitters are only there when I'm doing 360 powerslides for a fraction of a second. 4/5 stars because it would be nice if there were no jitters ever, and this process weren't necessary out of the box. Hope this helps!

Good controller
My son says its one of the best controllers he has had so far for his x box.

Another dud from Thrustmaster
I had high hopes for this hall sensor joystick, but it does not have consistent input. If you expect it to be able to play and have your inputs work, look elsewhere. I get constant disconnection of input mid-game, for example, holding the stick in one direction to, say, hold a line while racing around a corner. I regularly have the stick fail while I am mid-corner of a turn, and the car will suddenly dart off like the stick is no longer providing input, meaning the input is either cutting out or disconnecting itself, holding the stick to say, the left all of a sudden the car will start going straight instead of holding the line by holding the stick down. No, I am not talking about understeer. I am talking about you holding the stick in whatever direction. It goes in that direction, then suddenly stops reading that I am holding it to whatever direction and centers itself like I am not "steering" while the stick is at full lock in whatever direction; I tend to notice it more when holding it to the right but the left does it as well, albeit less often than the right. The wheel modules were a joke and barely lasted a week, so I was hopeful these Hall effect sticks would be the saving grace of wasting $180 on the Forza version of this controller. After spending nearly twice as much on replacement wheel modules in the first 6 months of ownership, I shelved it. Seeing they were releasing a Hall effect stick, I was hopeful this would help save money on drifting modules to be duped again by Thrustmaster; the name applies to their outlook on their customers, thrusting all the way to the bank after ripping them off. Don't buy these products. The company does not produce quality hardware, likely on purpose to keep the modules as consumables and generate revenue after they get the customer for a severely overpriced controller. I'll stick to my Gamesir; it is the price of a module, and it never lets me down. If it does, it can be replaced at the price of a TM module.

DO NOT BUY
For the price, I thought this was gonna be a good investment. Instead, I'm disappointed. The drift is absolutely insane. Slight movement causes crazy inputs in all directions. I have the input display on rocket league. You cant move the joystick in a circle. It's all over the place. this is after a month of gaming. Both joysticks are toast. Not worth replacing the joysticks every month. This controller gonna sit on a shelf of mistakes, along with the SCUF Impact. Edit: 8 months since I got this controller. They've sent replacement joysticks twice, and the newest set it already drifting. It's unplayable. That's 4 joysticks failing, in 8 months. STAY AWAY FORM THRUSTMASTER JOYSTICKS. They have no idea what they are doing.

Great, when it works.
Controller unpairs or just ceases to function from time to time. Inputs lockup sometimes.(have to disconnect and reconnect) Stick replacements are expensive and don't last very long. When it functions as it should it's a fantastic controller.
