Hosmart Intercoms Wireless for Home UltraSpeak, Full Duplex Intercom,1200Ft

I purchased this intercom system to make communication between different areas of our home easier and it has met my expectations. Setting it up was a simple task, all I needed to do was just plug both units into a power outlet and they were ready to use within a few minutes. I appreciate that it didn't require any complicated installation, Wi-Fi setup, or pairing process. The full duplex communication is one of my favorite features because it allows both people to speak naturally at the same time, just like a phone conversation. The sound quality is surprisingly clear with very little background noise, making conversations easy to understand even from different floors of the house. The advertised range has been more than enough for our needs. We use one unit upstairs and the other downstairs and the connection has remained strong and reliable with no noticeable delays or dropped audio. It has made it much easier to check in with family members without having to shout across the house or walk from room to room. Great item for that makes communication easy and efficient.

Works great, and set up couldn't be easier.I bought this to install a "plug-and-play" intercom system so I didn't have to yell at my kids from across the house anymore. It works exactly as I need it to. I started with just two, and bought two more for additional rooms - they all automatically connect as soon as you plug them in. I have them all linked so when you speak through one, it transmits through all of the others simultaneously, but you can program it to only transmit to a single unit at a time using a simple and easy channel system. (There are nine channel numbers, so my guess is that is the maximum number of units that can be linked together, but I haven't fact-checked that.) The sound quality on the transmission is great - clear and loud (which is great for children and the elderly). It has different settings where you can either transmit by holding a button down (like a walkie-talkie) or press an "on" button once that transmits continuously (like a telephone). What's more, all of this versatility is truly optional and not complicated. Like I said, you can just plug it in and it's ready to go, literally no set up required.They are built simple and compact, the size of a small book, are light-weight and their appearance doesn't stand out any more than any of our other electronic devices.The one possible down-side is that the material feels very light-weight, so it is possible that it might break easier than one would like. However, my kids have already (of course) thrown them around a bit and they held up fine. Also, even if they end up being more fragile than is ideal, they still are worth the very reasonable price.

I bought the four-station set because we live in a split-level home and one of us is elderly and can’t easily yell down the stairs when she needs something. We also didn’t want to call each other on our cell phones when we’re both in the same house.We put the four stations in the rooms where we spend most of our time and they work very well. The sound is clear and it’s so much easier to just press a button and talk to each other from another room or floor. We use them every day.My only complaint is the instructions. They really don’t explain very well how to use the intercoms or what all the different buttons and features are for. I had to go online and find better instructions before I really understood how everything worked. Once I did, they were easy to use.I’m very happy with them. They do exactly what I wanted them to do and I would buy them again. I just wish they came with better instructions.

This intercom deserves to leave me a great comentario...me very much loved... I put one of my daughter in her room and one in mine so as not to be screaming at her... The installation was very easy, just plug it in and start using it. The sound is clear and the communication is real-time, so you can speak without interruptions. In addition, it is very well-reaching and has worked perfectly to keep us communicated without having to shout from one room to another. I recommend it for homes, offices or to care for elderly relatives.

This intercom system is a must have. I purchased to be able to have communication with my daughter when she is upstairs in her room. She can barely hear us up there so this helps a lot. Its functions are reliable, the range is suitable for me, it has a plug for power. Instructions were very clear and understandable. Great sound and very sturdy. This intercom definitely helps ease my worries while trying to communicate with my daughter.

These units are not Full Duplex, they are Half Duplex with VOX.Both users cannot talk at the same time, If you attempt to talk while the other party is already talking then you will not be heard. One of the units I was using was in a loud environment and it stayed keyed up all the time. The 2nd unit could never talk to the 1st.I did follow the directions in the instructions and put the 1st unit on channel 1 and the 2nd on channel 2, pressed the #1 button from unit 2, the user on unit 1 pressed the answer button, VOX worked fine, but VOX isn't what it say on the package, it says FULL DUPLEX. So both users cannot talk at the same time. Changed the channel to 3, 4, 5 and 6 on the 2nd unit while unit 1 stayed on channel 1 and the results were the same. We then reversed the order and on unit 1 we changed the channels from 2 to 6 while unit 2 stayed on channel 1 with no difference.If you purchase these units knowing that they are Half Duplex with VOX then they are very good. They work as advertised and sound clear. NOTE: I only had the units about 30 ft from each other for testing purposes, they were transmitting through 3 walls with electric and WIFI all around them.The issue is that it says on the box that they are Full Duplex and they are not. Because one of the locations is in a room with a loud TV and a window unit that is a bit noisy then the compressor is active it stays keyed up all the time and the 2nd unit can never talk to it. So they will not work for my intended purposes. I am returning them.

Super super easy to install and USE. It is truly plug and play. You press the number you want to call, the other person presses the "talk" button to answer, you speak without pressing any buttons just like a phone, then press the "talk" button to hang up. It couldn't get any easier. Now my girls have a fast way to call us when they are upstairs. This would also be super easy for elders to use.

My home is four floors, and we (especially me) are never near our phones, so we needed something to connect with the other person around the house. Setup was easy and straight forward.You will have no problems there, and since it plugs in via USB, no batteries needed. Problem started occurring with quality and volume. Unless you were on top of it talking, the other person could not hear you. Range between them is about 3 stories and a basement and they could all connect with each other.

This is an excellent product. It's easy to configure and compact making it a non-intrusive item for the study desk or kitchen bench etc.

Works well, so simple to set up. liked it so much that I purchased another two more. Delivery was on time, perhaps a day early. Great service, great product.
