Review: Really Good tablet - This is my first tablet I started using. Have to be said that I was amazed by it. The screen, the resolution , the sensitivity of the touch function is great. also It has a really solid feel and the appearance of it is more elegant then other tablets on the market. The processor does it's job great, and you can switch between application really easy. If you turn it off however it takes a while (approx 5mins) to boot up again. There is a great variety of apps available for playbook and lots of them are free. I was really happy with this. The battery life is very nice (approx 8-9 hours). The GPS function doesn't work properly though or actually it only works when I am outside of a building and have a clear sky. I think BB could definitely develop that. The camera takes reasonably good pictures, however I think the playbook itself is not enough if you go on a trip and would like to take pictures. Also when I bought it, I wasn't aware there is no flaslight, so when there is no natural light around (i.e. you are in a pub, or inside a building) the playbook is no good for taking pics. All together I believe this is a great replacement of a laptop when you are only intending to browse the internet and write e-mails, play some games. It is more comfortable and because of the size, it is really easy to carry around. I definitely recommend it. I will be looking forward to see if RIM develops this tablet and would be interested in upgrading my Playbook in the next 2-3 years.
