Works perfectly in my home automation, closing at dusk and opening in the morning. Battery charge lasts several weeks with blind used every day. The unit is quite a long way from my Zigbee dongle and when the battery drops below 40% it can miss an odd command. This is not a problem for me as I monitor the battery charge in Home assistant and recharge it before it causes any problems. These work with Google Home ("Hey Google, open the blinds"), and you can adjust the speed. These are exceptionally quiet motors, most negative reviews seem to come from the blind mechanism being noise - it is probably worn, to reduce unwanted noise you can grease the pin end of the blind (not the pullcord side! - do not grease that) , and sometimes it is worth buying another pull cord assembly if years of yanking on the old "manual" blinds has loosened the mechanism (as had happened to my large blind). You can also reverse the motion buttons to accommodate which side of the blind the draw string is on. (so the UP button always goes UP!) I use them with Home assistant and they connect to the ZHA dongle quite simply without the AQARA Hub or APP (hold the reset button for just over 5 seconds, until the LED goes red; release the reset button and the LED flashes blue; click "Add device" in the Home Assistant Zigbee integration and it will find it.)
