works great on any bluetooth device
I have several wired earphones that I purchased over many years. I DO NOT like bluetooth ear phones because you lose them easily, and I do not like the idea of radiation beaming directly next to my brain. I bought these so that I can use my 3.5mm jack wired ear phones and my other bluetooth speakers and devices. This device connects to my phone, tablet, laptop, my 2009 car stereo system (via AUX) and other devices either as a transmitter or a receiver interchangeably VERY fast and there is no latency. It automatically remembers your devices as long as you don't have more than 2 devices turned on simultaneously since it can connect 2 devices at the same time. Battery life is long. Fresh out of the box, I used it for 2 weeks without any initial charge, 2-3hrs a day. The distance you can move away from your device however, is not that far. I found after 50feet or so, it starts to stagger. That's still pretty good in my books.

Retains signal throughout a condo
3 star ease of use rating because the enclosed instruction print is extremely small and mixed with many translations so it clutters the page. As well being brief on usage instructions. A few days after delivery, I did receive an email via amazon from Amazon Seller - 1MiiDirect giving instructions in English only for device usage. This was very helpful. They are willing to answer questions if further assistance was needed. There is no indication of how long the charge on the battery will last and there is no way to change the installed battery when it will no longer hold a charge, so it becomes e-waste at that point. You can use an earphone with standard stereo jack but is has no volume control. If the transmitting device has no volume control the signal will be very loud. With a "source" volume control the volume is well controlled. The charging cable is usb-A male to usb-C male. It will work with a USB-c to USB-c if you have one. It can charge from USB connections but interestingly it will not charge with an Anker 313 rapid charger. Both transmit and receive modes work. This can be important when you send (transmit) a signal from a TV sound audio extractor without bluetooth to a bluetooth speaker or you want to receive a signal from a PC and listen to the audio with earphones that is plugged directly into this device. There is no noticeable lag between the audio and tv picture synchronization as there maybe with bluetooth. Well worth the purchase for the capabilities and price.

Great Speaker Update, some minor annoyances around auto-shutoff
Got it in White. While it's a bit unclear, it seems to support BT 5.3 and the various standards associated with that, but I've seen it as 5.0 (manual), 5.2 (the 1Mii web page) and 5.3 here at Amazon. The Apt-X HD is really nice for getting good quality BT audio out of my Windows box for Spotify (given the limitations of BT and Spotify, etc. etc.), and the Mac laptops connect via AAC (as usual). I've got an old Klipsch powered desktop speaker set (ProMedia 2.1 THX) plugged in via the 1/8" jack, and it works quite well with the 1Mii ML300. The single button per "connected device" takes some getting used to, and the manual is, as usual, kind of confusing. Between things on this Amazon page, the manual, and some experimentation, I was able to mount my Mac laptop and Windows desktop simultaneously and they switch off pretty easily. I did not test the transmit, as I also use Sony headphones so got a beefier Fiio BTA-30 Pro (6x the price of this gadget!) to allow the Mac to transmit LDAC. While that's a nice device, this 1Mii can do much of the same (at least up to Apt-X), but doesn't support all the fancy optical and powerful DAC features of the Fiio. I haven't tested the 1/8" jack signal coming out to see how clean it is, but I don't get tons of crackle or hum at high volume with no signal (but not zero). I also have turned the source volume up and output seems basically ok, but I don't expect much from a tiny device at this price. Biggest hassle: if a signal doesn't show up for a while, the ML300 just shuts off, even when plugged in. This means that if you don't use your computer for a day, the thing just turns off. You have to manually turn it off and back on to RX to re-awaken it. This means it can't be an in-wall or otherwise hidden option, and also means you need to keep it reachable, which kind of sucks. I expected that if it's permanently charging, it wouldn't ever shut off unless I turned off. Also, it seems to "sleep" the speakers when the audio pauses or stops, making a loud "click" sound which is just sloppy electronics. So, it's kind of minor, but also frustrating to have to dig the thing out and turn it off and on again when it powers down. It boots quickly and reconnects quickly, but it's just an avoidable "feature". Making this settable would be much appreciated in a future rev. But for the price, you get Apt-X HD (and LL if your device supports it) which is a nice add in this price range, as well as a tiny size. The one-button dance and auto-shutoff are hassles, but at this price point, it's not hard to overlook them, at least when I'm not bumping my head into the desk as I yet again cycle the switch. Overall, a good buy, esp at this price.

Works!
It does work - I used the 3.5mm earphone cable to connect two Bluetooth headphones to the same audio device. It's a bit confusing to get Bluetooth pairing to work, but I did get it working with two pairs of headphones -- simultaneously. I wish this transmitter had a pair of volume controls, one for each pair of headphones.

Worked great for me
For the money you can't go wrong. I bought 2 and had 4 sets of headphones going at once. If all of your earbuds are the same brand/type there was no delay from pair to pair. Had a delay when using another brand mixed in however.
