Solar Lanterns

Update: I still love these lanterns. Got up this morning at 5:30, dusky morning, & they were still going strong. Love love love! Some of the complaints I’m reading are just silly, along with their 1 or 2 stars. Take some responsibility, people. 1. Solar lanterns for the garden are NEVER bright. They are for atmosphere & ambiance only. You will never be able to read a book by the light of a solar lantern. But you CAN enjoy a glass of wine. 2. Read read read. It’s too lightweight, you say? Try reading the description. It tells you exactly how much one of these lanterns weighs. 3. Too large? Too small? Repeat # 2. 4. Stopped working? Call customer service, just like you would if your vacuum stopped working. Original review: These lanterns are the brightest solars I’ve seen. They just arrived today, I immediately put them on the patio in the sun, & even with only 4 or 5 hours of sunlight, they are lighting up my garden with a lovely glow. I’m ordering 2 more tonight!

I can't say enough good things about these lanterns. I have had 8 of them for 2 years and they still light up brightly at night even after being outside for two Colorado winters. They are also beautiful, lighting up the garden beds with a lovely patterned light. Just bought two more for a new bed I am putting in. That makes 10 lighting up my gardens at night. Couldn't be happier with this purchase and this company. Finally, a really good solar lantern!

These look fine overall, just a bit cheap in the light. I like how they look at night, however. I didn't buy these for light, but rather for ambience. I'm happy with the result! 10/21/22 update - after over a year of use, these lanterns are still working. However, the original rechargeable battery wasn't working as well. Thankfully, you can remove the top of the lantern and unscrew the three screws in the base of it to replace the single AA-sized rechargeable battery that is inside. I uploaded a video showing how straightforward it is to do this. I used an Amazon Basics rechargeable battery as the replacement, which I've seen keep even brighter lanterns on all night. I'm very pleased with how easy it is to keep these lanterns running once their original batteries die out!

These look really nice, they hang easily thanks to the lightweight design and they're actually brighter then I was expecting which is great. They cast a pretty pattern, couldn't capture well at night with my old phone. First photo indoors for an example of the shadow cast, second outdoors. They definitely need a good full charge from the sun so be sure they will get it if you expect them to work as advertised. I put them in an area where I dont have an electric outlet and they add a nice touch of security to brighten the area a bit and they look very nice. Based on prior solar light experiences they dont typically last years but with these it would be easy to simply pop the top off and drop some fairy lights in if it gets to the point of then not working. ** Update - almost one year later and these are still going strong. They survived being outside all throughout a Northeast PA snowy and frigid winter and very rainy spring. Last picture is the newest, still lighting up so changed the rating to 5 star. Totally worth buying!

I have four of these solar lanterns and they provide nice mood lighting but not bright enough to dine by outside. They cast a pretty pattern and also look attractive in daylight. One of my lanterns didn't illuminate so I contacted the manufacturer and they replaced it quickly.

I *love* these lanterns! I previously had ones with a “candle” in them illuminated above by an led and was confused when I saw these did not have one. The interior is gold causing that warm glow reflecting the led light and amazing patters! I am hanging one from a stand and they are sturdy and lightweight (so I am not worried about the stand falling over) but heavy enough to stay put on a table top. What ambiance! So pretty! Totally transformed the patio!

I purchased these around Christmas as a "just in add I forgot someone gift", and luckily I did not need to use them. I decided to keep them and I put them out during the beginning of the summer. They are Very pretty. I love the light and how it illuminates my porch. I purchased 2 and have kept them on my porch out of the weather. The lights are still working great, but I noticed the container is rusting very badly. I did hand wash and towel dried once due to dust and bugs that had gotten inside. I can only imagine how bad these would loom if I had allowed them to be out in the weather. So, they have been sitting on a covered porch for less than 6 months and already have a substantial amount of rust on both of them. Poor quality. I had to throw one away and probably should toss the second one. If you are looking to use in a wedding or other single occasion and don’t care about reusing them then they would work great.

Love these outside lantern lights, they are so cute! They look so nice when lite up at night. Love coming home when dark to see them glowing as coming up the driveway. Loved them so much, bought more to give to my mom on Mother’s Day! Great quality and holding up well being outside! Definitely would buy again
