The matte black finish looks much more modern and classy than the old white ones I had. Changing out outlets can really change the look of a room. I live in a house from 1995, and these fit perfectly with the wiring that is already there. There are no problems with compatibility or anything like that. The quality seems good, and they've been working well since I put them in. In general, no problems at all. These are a great choice if you're remodeling and want to update your outlets. The matte black finish is sleek but not too flashy, and putting it together was easy.

Good stuff

Look and work great. We did a black "colour drench" paint job in our dining room and I replaced all the receptacles with these. Room looks great and these look and perform great too.
