Or can I wash them and reuse? This is just for my pills and no one else will be using it.** A: Cups can be rinsed & reused. I don’t do it often. I recall ordering many cups at once as a back up. For the record, the machine is fabulous. **Q: How many pills can it crush at once?** A: It can crush 1-2 large pills (eg, 500mg calcium) at one time or up to 5-6 medium size pills at one time. Try to crush pills the same size at the same time or they won't crush evenly. **Q: Can this unit crush Enteric coated pills you a fine powder?** A: Not to a fine powder. My wife uses the machine to crush several pills at a time; one is Prilosec which is coated. There are small particles of the coating left after crushing.
