Seems it was an inflamed IT Band. Rolling this on my upper outside leg did the trick. The pain it produces is something else but the pain is nothing compared to the pain it fixed.Due to the sheer volume of these products available on Amazon, i was not sure which one to get. Having taken a gamble on this, i can honestly say it it sturdy, well made and worth the money. Cheap but not too cheap, know what I mean. I have nothing bad to say about it. I can even fit my gym towel in the hollow section.I have used this and a tennis ball, combined with weight training to slowly recover from IT Band Syndrome, Anterior Pelvic tilt, Lower back pain. (Common injury's from incorrect posture, Marathon running and having a job where you sit down for prolonged periods of time)Do make sure you do your research online how to use one properly (I recommend youtube) otherwise you can do more harm than good. If you use it properly it can be a real life saver for pre marathon training.
