Happy Grandson!
After waiting 6 weeks, I was so disappointed as was my grandson. Once the problem was reported, the so graciously sent another one which he received with 2 weeks. Thank you for working this out! Great product!

This is a really cool product. Purchased two at christmas, one for my son and one for my nephew aged 7 and 11. They are having great fun learning how to use it, and the DVD that comes with the product has some excellent tips on how to get going. I will say though it's not easy. With only two wheels, a sence of balance is an absolute must, but it didn't take the boys long to master it. Saftey gear is also a must!!!! Overall I think this product is great and at such a great price too. Cheapest I could find anywhere with most places retailing it at 3 times as much. Also Amazon delivered super fast. Fab. Thanks Amazon!!!

Bought a red one and a blue one for my 10 year old twin boys. They are never off them. Took a while to get used to them (a few cuts on elbows/knees so they stuck with the knee pads for a while) but now they have it mastered and are flying around. My boys are tall for their age and I would highly recommend the compact size over the full size as its easier to master. Their friends have both size rip sticks and the compact size gives them far better control and manoeuvrability. you do however need a fairly smooth road or path to skate on. Brilliant gift idea with Christmas on the way!

My 14 year old son wanted one of these after trying his friend's and even though he had it in december which is not a great time for outdoor toys, he has used it loads, mainly round the patio. Soon got the hang of it (unlike me!) and it seems well made so would recommend it for boys of his age.

Brilliant product. Got this for my 10 year old son and he loves it - he can even make it steep hills. I'm trying to work out of I can get one for me that will take my weight. Takes a while to get going but well worth the perseverance.

I brought this for my son who was 11 at the time. He is small for his age, so after long consideration, I bought the compact version. Initially, he was a bit disappointed about not having the full size version like some of his friends, but he (and they) soon found out that the compact board is much easier to control and ride than the full size version. He was able to learn to ride it in one afternoon, and after about 3 hours, could turn on a sixpence. His friends with the full size one were struggling a bit because they had to stand with their legs so far apart, and found it much harder to do tricks. It's more manouverable than a skateboard, and my son thinks it's more fun. Unfortunately, there is a 79kg weight limit, otherwise I'd love to have a go myself.
