If you create a stereo pair of HomePods using your iPad, the "DONE" button may no show up. Until you clock "DONE', the pair is not created. If this happens you can use your MAC to create the pair. Once done, it works perfectly.

Waste of money
It can not do anything except a timer, give the weather and review a movie. Everything else requires using the iPhone. Who needs it I can just use the phone. Where is the convenience. Don't waste your money Alexa is a million times better and doesn't constantly involve your phone. My review is it is garbage.

It’s part of a whole!
I purchased the hub to be part of a home security system that included the Aqara hub, Apple Home App, Apple Home Pod and Aqara U400 Smart Lock. I now have hands free access to my front door that takes advantage of a ton of iOS features that include my Apple Watch Ultra 3 and iPhone 17 ProMax. I can also use the lock’s biometric fingerprint feature, numeric combination code or a good old fashion key. After several attempts I ended up having all the parts integrated by a professional. And it has worked flawlessly ever since!

Not a must-have
The HomePod mini is okay, sleek design, easy to set up, and the sound quality is decent for its size. It works well with Apple devices and looks nice in any room. That said, the volume and bass could be stronger, and Siri can be hit or miss sometimes. Overall, it’s a nice little smart speaker if you’re already in the Apple ecosystem, but not a must-have.

I absolutely love it! Much easier to use if you have an iPhone to connect to your music streaming apps. I can hear it from across my apartment even though it’s the size of a softball! I would purchase another like this!
