It has big holes in the sponge that do not grab all the algae off the glass. I did not like this scraper, too big and awkward to work properly, for me. Who woulda thunk? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Removes algae well, a bit awkward to use *by T***7 on April 16, 2024* First I would say this is made very well. It has a nice sturdy long handle and the scrubbing pad is thick and a very good scrubber. The issue for me is the thickness of the padding overall. It can be pretty tricky to get between the glass and plants, decorations etc. I am also not sure how well the angle of the scrubber to handle works. I tend to have to use it holding it just one way, if I try the other side of the padding I can only go down so far on the glass before I hit plants or decorations with the handle. One thing is that it does not scratch the glass, and if you have some heavy duty algae you can really get in there and scrub hard and it will come off. I alternate this scrubber with a magnetic scrubber.
