## Description

Every feature of the Pro-Blade SSD Handle for SanDisk USB-C recording has been meticulously considered and optimized. Not only does the handle perform as an incredible top handle, but it can also be used as a side handle. The NATO rail that runs along the base serves as a great platform for dialing in balance and positioning for either orientation. The NATO features an integrated safety stop giving you confidence that the handle won’t slip free. The drive slides smoothly into the handle and has a recessed cutout on top for users to be able to grab the pull tab of the drive to remove. The USB-C interface on the front of the grip is nested into a vertical NATO rail which provides great protection without any extra fuss. The vertical NATO also pairs perfectly with our NATO to NATO Swivel Tilt Monitor Mount. The KONDOR BLUE Pro-Blade SSD Handle also features a cold shoe with a spring-loaded safety stop and 2x ¼ 20 ARRI style mounts. The mounting NATO clamp can also be oriented in parallel or perpendicular modes and is held in place with two captive M4 bolts and anti-twist pins. The NATO clamp stem can also be removed altogether to work with KONDOR BLUE’s NATO Clamp to ARRI Rosette and Quick-Release Rosette Module. Best of all, the KONDOR BLUE Pro-Blade SSD Recording Handle is also comfortable! The combination of the side cross hatchings, diamond plate style G10, and finger cutouts make this grip an ergonomic dream. Review: Great for professional iPhone filmmakers - Absolutely must have if you use your iPhone for filmmaking (I have tested a few different SSD drives and this is the best by far), but I imagine it must be amazing for professional cameras too. Apart from the fact that it's a great and versatile grip, it is really fast and reliable, plus the little transparent part makes it perfect for checking which SSD you're using if you label them. The only tip I would give for mobile filmmakers is if you're trying to film in 4K 60fps or 120fps with the newest iPhones 15 Pro or 16 Pro, make sure to always have it attached to a hub (like the Kondor Blue one) and a power bank plugged in as well, as it consumes more power than the iPhone can handle and it won't save your video without it and it'll disconnect the SSD when stopping your recording, then you'll have to unplug and plug back again and wait a few minutes, making it painful if you're on a professional shoot.

Absolutely must have if you use your iPhone for filmmaking (I have tested a few different SSD drives and this is the best by far), but I imagine it must be amazing for professional cameras too. Apart from the fact that it's a great and versatile grip, it is really fast and reliable, plus the little transparent part makes it perfect for checking which SSD you're using if you label them. The only tip I would give for mobile filmmakers is if you're trying to film in 4K 60fps or 120fps with the newest iPhones 15 Pro or 16 Pro, make sure to always have it attached to a hub (like the Kondor Blue one) and a power bank plugged in as well, as it consumes more power than the iPhone can handle and it won't save your video without it and it'll disconnect the SSD when stopping your recording, then you'll have to unplug and plug back again and wait a few minutes, making it painful if you're on a professional shoot.

So far this product has worked perfectly. My only gripe so far is that it doesn't act like the Problade Transport when it comes to changing drives. With the transport, you are able to hot swap drives, but with handle you can't. You need to unplug the USB and plug it back in to get the computer or camera to recognize the new drive. Other than this, the handle is fantastic. Had I not known about the issue that Kordon Blue had with getting product packaging for the handle, I would have given 3 stars for how long it took for myle to get the product. I ordered it mid-August and received it right before Halloween.
