No adapter plate needed. **Q: Is this a Gen 1 or Gen 2 with fluted or tapered front bottom** A: Gen 2. You can find a list of all the 2.0 slides from Walther and check your frame to see if the numbers are 2.0 or 1.0 **Q: will this fit XDM-E osp compact 9mm?** A: No, This is specifically made to fit the v2 PDP OR PDP Pro. Holosun does make two or three other SCS's to spcifically fit with Glock and S&W I believe. **Q: Does it work combined with a silencer since it's sitting very low ?
