## Description

OKNIFE U1 Pro Multitool Folding Utility Knife with Folding Screwdriver, Quick Change Blade, Rail Lock & Pocket Clip for Men Women (Carbon Fiber Black) - desertcart.com

Review: Perfect EDC, all that you need. - I used to carry regular folding knives from the likes of Benchmade, CRKT, etc... However, I found that the reason I used a blade 99% of the time was for opening boxes. This sort of task dulls up a knife bland and gets it covered in tape. I started using utility knives at home to open boxes and just stopped carrying a knife. While looking for a good folding utility knife, most of them are pretty terrible. The Gerber I have is okay, but very basic, small, and kind of ugly. This Oknife is perfect (well, nearly so!). I love that it has more of the blade exposed so it looks and performs more like a 'real' knife. That blade exposure means I could see myself doing things like cutting an apple or other things with this knife that I would not do with your typical utility knife. It also just looks better that most utility knives. The micarta is a very nice material. The lock seems solid. I absolutely LOVE that it comes with a bit driver. The only other tool I use more than a utility knife is a screwdriver. So this has me covered. Pros + Beautiful design + Solidly built with attention to detail (honestly I could see this knife being sold for $75 easily) + Great materials + Takes regular blades (although only 1 is included with the knife) Cons / improvements - Although the design is nice, it would be amazing if there was another way to hold the blade in place besides the screw. That screw on the side does prevent you from using it completely like a regular knife as you can't slice through something thick without hitting it. The screw is low profile, and I don't know of another design that could work, but it's the only thing about the blade mechanism I don't love. - It would be cool if there were some tweezers in the handle. Overall I can't imagine a better folder pocket utility knife. It's a beautiful knife that you don't have to maintain the blade (just replace it!) and you always have a bit driver on you.
Review: Best utility knife out there - In the world of folding replaceable utility blades, I think that a king has been crowned. Look, I belong to the subculture of American blue collars that carry knives (plural) to work and a separate combination of knives elsewhere. You’ve got your prideful edc (usually riding clipped inside of dominant-side front pocket), you’ve got your multitool (in my case riding in a scout’s carry leather belt sheath on my dominant side hip, and you’ve got your utility knife (usually riding clipped inside of your dominant side rear pocket). I remember when folding utility knives started to show up on jobsites a few years ago; they were hard to miss because the only option was the giant gen-1 Milwaukee Fastback constructed of aluminum with the wire pocket clip. Button release, liner lock, simple enough mechanism ton swap out blades, it completely changed the game for just about every single hand-tool oriented trade. Didn’t take long for other brands to want in on the action, and I ate up each offering as it was placed on the shelves of the big box stores, every major tool brand had their version. Dewalt, Makita, Huskey, Kobalt, even Fiskars put forth a challenger. Each had done something right, but none enough so to dethrone the original especially since at this point the newest generation of Milwaukee Fastback had a reversible flathead-Philips screwdriver integrated into the handle. Now we fast forward a few years, and it doesn’t take much imagination to conclude that the same blue collar tool users and the hardcore knife-nuts of the world often overlap and are one in the same. Well some point, these legendary affordable knife manufacturers (Oknife, Civivi, Kizer, etc) catch wind that their customers are carrying one of their knives in one pocket and and a utility knife made by a tool company in another pocket, and I don’t think they liked that. Because apparently they went to their customers and asked them what they wanted in a utility knife, and then they went to work. I went with Oknife’s offering because I’ve been such a huge fan of this company for years, ever since they supported my police academy class by giving us an unbelievable discount on pistol lights upon graduation (pistol lights that cost us less than 1/3 of the competitors and outperformed them so brutally in every category our major Texas agency adopted the Olight officially going forward). It was the first knife from Oknife that I’d handled, and it was just as exceptional as their lights. The action for flipping the blade with thumb or backside finger is the same as the high end knives of today. The blade swap system, while requiring a tool, is the most secure on the market with zero blade wiggle and perfect alignment. The amount of cutting edge that’s exposed is another element that was so well thought out. The micarta scales are as grippy as you could want them to be. The crossbar lock isn solid and responsive. It’s just perfect. If I had to have one gripe, it’s that it’s a tad small. But you’ll get over it quickly. Highly recommend.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cute, pretty, colorful, quality. And it’s also a tool!
*by A***W on May 29, 2026*

So, I don’t want to use it. My wife went with the girls on a route 66 road trip, so I clipped it to her pocket before she left. It’s convenient and non threatening, and one hand opening is very convenient. Fits her tiny hands perfectly as well as my huge meat hooks. Haven’t changed the ceramic blade yet, unlike the crap I use at work. I purchased extras, and will review them later. I’m just waiting to see if I get the knife back after the trip
