Great trail builder
Works great for trailer building and grubbing vegetation. Chops through roots with ease. Very sturdy.

A must have for land clearing and trail building
Great product! The length of handle is really a plus. Cleared a 20' grass & weed circle for a controlled burn with ease. I was sore, alot, but the tool worked great. Super for trail building. The rake side enabled clearing of ground vines and poison oak very well. I learned the hoe side is not an axe, it will not cut 1" roots, just shakes the crap outta the handle. It's clearly stated in the description; it's a hoe with a heavy-duty rake. Great for clearing land.

It's very sturdy and not to heavy to work with.
I have only used the gamblers steel rake hoe once to clear out a thick row of monky grass. It worked great. The handle seems very sturdy. I am glad I bought this one. I know it's going to be used a lot in the gardens.

Junk, support doesnt help
I bought this tool and it arrived on time. It came in a box with no packaging, masking tape as the only padding over the sharp metal edges which was a pain to remove. The metal was scratched. No problem, i had the tool and was ready to use it. Fast forward 15 hours of use. The handle snapped clean in two. I checked amazon's order for this to get support - the support link led me to their website. I sent them an inquiry with this picture an the amazon order number and I was simply replied that I ordered this through amazon so that I needed to handle this issue through amazon. Thankfully this is brand new (as far as ordering timelines go) so I am simply returning this for a refund and getting a mcleod from another company. If the tool is going to break and the support isnt going to help - no reason to pay more for this. buy cheap
