The original version of this book is the size of a coffee table book, but this edition is the smaller version. It's 8.07" tall x 5.91" wide x 1.73" thick. (For reference, I'm attaching a photo from Cruschi's instagram showing the two stacked together.) I personally love the size! It is around the height of most of my books and fits nicely on a bookshelf. The illustrations and photos are still very large and clear. Great quality print, and was shipped in a plastic slipcover inside of a cardboard box with some padding. It arrived quickly with no damage. Interesting variety of homes in the book and nice pictures. Good projects to study and for inspiration.

Little, beautiful, inspirational cabin book
This version is also is in English, so it’s a great price considering the English only version is almost $80. This is great book with wonderful color photos throughout.

Is Taschen getting lazy?
Other Taschen books I've read have taken me deep inside interesting topics. This one was not so deep. It contains pictures of a few dozen cabins and one layer of depth below that, including some shots of the inside, some layouts, etc. Also helpful was knowing who built it, so one might contact that person for help building something similar. However, I was looking for an education in how to think about cabin design, and I didn't find enough depth in this book to advance me towards that goal.

Das Buch ist nett anzusehen (unter dem Umschlag ist es rosa) und auch super zum durchblättern. Die Häuser haben alle Angaben die man braucht Ort, qm, leichter Grundriss, was bedacht und erzielt werden sollte
