Review: Cyrus or Kamran - Alizeh must choose - After the way These Infinite Threads ended, I couldn't wait for the next book in the series to be released. And then the cover for All This Twisted Glory was released and I was beyond myself - so pretty. But also I needed more of Alizeh and Cyrus and couldn't wait until it was released. All This Twisted Glory picks up pretty much right where These Infinite Threads left off. Kamran and his ragtag group of "friends" are on their way to Tulan. Alizeh still isn't sure if she should marry Cyrus, but her people are waiting for her - demanding she show herself as the Queen that she is. Without giving too much away - I feel like not a lot happened for a good chunk of the book. The last 1/3 of the book picked up considerable speed, but the pacing felt off. Whereas, even though I feel like not a lot happened in These Infinite Threads either - the angst, tension and story were still compelling. Will I be continuing on with this series - ABSOLUTELY. I need to know more about Cyrus. So many nuggets were dropped about his past and I need this poor tortured sad boy to tell us more. I did enjoy the Kamran chapters slightly more than I did in the last book - but ugh is Miss Huda supposed to be that annoying? Loved loved loved Hazzan and need to know more about him! Overall - I really enjoyed this book, but not as much as the previous one.
