My mother (who has passed) was an avid sewer. I wanted to do this as a tribute to her & her "Sewing Room". I had SO much fun! The things that are included are just so adorable! I added many of my own personal touches. Little scissors (dozens of them all around the sewing room!) a pin cushion (definitely NOT to scale! LOL), and jars of buttons! Buttons, buttons, everywhere! I changed the fabric to be more meaningful to ME, and just had SO much fun with this kit!!! I did use the lighting system that came with the kit, which I rarely do. I most definitely recommend this kit. Directions were very clear, Parts are sturdy and fit very well together. Very nicely priced. Much nicer quality than many with much higher prices!

This came out really well. It is so cute that my girlfriend’s really like it. I did change a few things around to suit my taste, but I still like it.

This is exactly what I was looking for in a miniature! The instructions can be slightly confusing at times but the images make it fairly easy to follow. I loved getting to make all of the little objects on my own and not just being given stickers or something. The only issue I had was with the battery pack, the instructions indicate that you need 1cm of wire exposed to connect to the lighting but it only comes with 2-3cm exposed and every time I tried to cut the protective cover to expose the wire I ended up cutting the wire as well. I used tacky glue (which is not included) and it has held up well. Would definitely recommend this if you are new to miniatures like me!

It was quite a more advanced skill required project than I anticipated. Therefore gifted to my son, whom had a wonderful time with it, and beautiful end results. Not a beginner item.

Great design of the tailor shop. I wish they would add more fabric pieces instead of paper. You will need a better brush and paint than the colors included. The paint is useless. It is sturdy and fits well together. I recommend using bearly glue for wooden pieces.
