water repellent,protects.
Have used Mink Oil for years on my leather shoes etc. My bottle was from the 1980s. So figured it was time for anew bottle. Happy to find this product and it does what it says protects leather.

Slipping into the miss guided oil
I would have given this 5 stars but it wasn't what i wanted. I asked for pure mink oil with out additives of any kind.

No better than water
I was not in the least impressed with this product. It wasn’t any better than using water to case and work on my leather. I had to strop my blade after every second cut, increasing the time to do the project immensely. There was nothing smooth about the cuts, very “jerky” for a better description. I have been working leather for over 40 years, and have only had this much problem when I used straight water.

This product is mostly liquid paraffin.
