A great deal of background is explained and we get to learn the reason for the names of the three walls and the titan in the wall! Eren is rather interesting in this one. Has he found peace? Is he going to destroy Marley? Reiner? This does get answered. We also get to see some familiar faces from the first series as well as a new interesting Titan. What was surprising is one of the old characters is known and feared. Won't say who but I am sure you can guess. The ending is staged for a massive fight.
