Great little forge!
My 13 year old son is in love with Forged in Fire. He started making handles for blade blanks last year but was determined to try his hand at forging. He saved up his money for this forge and i ordered it for him. Assembly took 5 minutes and it fired up perfectly on the first try. It's very nearly ready to go out of the box. Fabrication is perfect and the materials are first rate. I ordered a box of firebrick to close up the back and it came with a pair of bricks for the bottom. Within an afternoon, he was able to bang out his first rough blade on an HF anvil. He was extremely proud of himself and I was proud that he set a goal and achieved it. Of course, he doesn't use it unsupervised... However, in the many hours I've sat outside with him as he forged, I've never had any safety concerns with the forge. It runs hot and stable. The inlets and tubing on the top stay cool to the touch.

Great 2 burner forge
Perfect for beginners or advanced blade smiths. Comes with everything but the LP gas. Gets hot and easy to control the flame. Setting the refractory was a chore but easy to do. It's a great forge for the price. It comes with bricks to trap in the heat. I have heated 1/2" blade material in it. Very easy to adjust the burners for optimal heat. I

Great American made product.
A bit expensive compared to some but its an American made product and I can get questions answered by the folks that make it here. Assembly is messy but simple and the instructions are strait forward and easy to follow. No leaks from the burners and hose and fittings. It gets good and hot. I have not tried to get to welding heat yet though. Would recommend for anyone looking to get into the hobby and I love that its an US product.

Good product, need better shipping
Product is as advertised , maybe a lil smaller than expected , only real negative I incountered was a broken fire brick as well as ripped bag holding the cement powder which was all over (easily replaced from hardware store) . Good starting point for anyone getting started

This forge is worth its weight in gold. Highly recommended!!!!!
I couldn't be more happier with this Hell's Forge. This thing gets to forge-weld temps with no problem. It was fun putting this forge together, seriously, I was excited. I started forging 4 years ago, using my buddies gear, so I decided to buy my own, and I am very pleased with Hell's Forge for their workmanship. The forge is made with thick steel and solid welds. I couldn't be more pleased with my first forge. I highly, highly recommend Hell's Forge to anyone interested in blacksmithing/bladesmithing. Update: Since I bought my forge back in February, I bought a new mesh sleeved gas line and installed it. I've been working on a few blades, 2 of them in pictures I've provided and a third still in the beginning stage. I still have no complaints with this forge. Hell's Forge customer service is excellent, they will get back to you ASAP, in my case the same day, and they are very helpful. Hell's Forge stands by their products 100%

Couldn't be happier!! I needed a nail...
I had a rolled up poster from 1997 sitting in my closet, you know, those UV reactive ones from Spencer's that have the magic mushrooms on it? I needed to find a way to hang it, but I didnt want to bother with thumb tacks, or nails that may or may not have been reliable to hold this piece of paper on the wall. I had to make something myself. So, I bought this beautifully crafted, USA made dual burner portable slice of hell. It is very much my new favorite toy, because fire. The setup is fantastic, the entry for access is quite nice with it's 'wide mouth', and best of all, IT GETS SUPER HOT! Granted, the fire bricks included did not survive shipping at all, maybe my UPS driver was having a bad day, maybe he needed a Snickers bar, who knows. Luckily I have a stack of fire bricks from my foundry build. Moving forward, fired this angry fire breathing monster up, threw in some old stock steel and made it hot. Put the hot don't.touch.me.it.will.hurt stick on my cheap 55lb boat anchor, beat it with my smackerbob, grunted, AND I MADE A NAIL!!! My poster now hangs up delighfully, knowing that the nail I made with this kick ass HELLS FORGE is of quality. Now my friends want to play with this manly funtoy of chaos.

Good product for the price
I received my forge on time and in good condition. It was easy to assemble and I liked that the instructions also had a note written on the instruction manual which made me feel a bit more of a personal touch from the seller. Because it is lightweight, I set it up on a small wire rolling shelf so I can easily move it from place to place. I have used the forge to make two knives so far and it works great for my purposes. It does take a little practice to get it set so the flame is steady. I noticed during use that the fittings above the forge get hot due to the heat rising. I simply placed a fire brick on top of the forge and it absorbs the majority of the heat so the fittings stay cooler to the touch. I love it so far. The only suggestion I would make to the seller is to consider putting the flame outlets closer together. I find that the items I work on, I end up using one side mostly. I still love it though.
