OpenComm2 Bone Conduction Headset, Open-Ear Bluetooth Headphones

Its probably one of the best headsets ive come across in a long time. For drivers by profession I would recommend 100% as you can still hear everything around you while having voice enhancement features build in turned on. Only thing I would say to the creator is that all it really needs is a wireless charge feature but apart from that so far cant fault it. The person that complained about the zip its either a one off fluke or your being too heavy handed with the case because ive not gotten close to breaking that and im in and out the truck seems strong enough for purpose. The app makes updating easy and if you ever have a connection issue check your phone software before you start having an argument with the headset haha. The button features on the headset are really great making hands free easier too again any hgv drivers or drivers by profession you dont even notice its on your head. The vibrating when the volumes too loud is strange at first but again becomes second nature once used to the headset but massively wins over ear buds and what not

I don't normally leave reviews but this evening I had to do a conference call from my hotel room with a customer - except the WiFi wasn't good enough so moved to a quietish corner of the hotel bar. MIssed there was a table football table behind me which 10 minutes later had 8 people around it screaming..... Just to make it worse the fire alarms (loud sirems) went off and ended up on the street outside with 5 fire engines with sirens and ambulances. Was told by colleagues afterwards that no background noise was heard for the duration of the call - absolutely amazing at a fraction of the price of my Bose QC45s....

These opencomm2 are amazing. I couldn't be happier with these. Usual scepticism when a work colleague recommended I get bone conducting 'earphones', so I read loads of reviews and had to sort which were applicable to me and my situation. While I realise these aren't suitable for everyone and aren't necessarily the best way to listen to music, I work as a Security Officer and can use these throughout a complete shift, on one charge, I have complete situational awareness, I can hear and use other comms (radios etc.), whilst other Guards become oblivious to their surroundings when they have their earbuds in, I can listen to podcasts, take phone calls (simultaneously), make phone calls, using Siri and Apple Watch in conjunction with these, without touching my phone (easy bt connectivity), I can join video meetings and still talk to other people in the room. They are comfortable and light, the sound quality is amazing and for a bonus for me, as they are bone conducting, I forget that I am actually partially deaf in one ear. They definitely suit me and my requirements. Very happy customer.

Only reason it's not 5/5 if you don't buy the Shokz usb adaptor - Windows 11 - gets **y and loses sight of the headset randomly. Feel like Microsoft need to be told to get their buggy solutions sorted out. There's a bit of sound leakage from the device, mentioning in case that affects anyone's buying decision. Sounds great though. Only query the usb a adaptor carries a hefty price tag? I didn't buy one but I'm reconsidering that decision.

Excellent product, very comfortable, and noise cancelling works really well. The multipoint pairing and the USB C charging port is a bonus, it avoids carrying additional chargers.

These work fine with my phone. Neckband is very large and not adjustable but the over ear fitting holds it in place. Biggest disappointment was this listing not making it clear that this does not include the dongle needed to connect to my Mac. So I need to spend another £70 to actually be able to use them. EDIT down from 2 stars to 1: even with the Loop120 dongle it still won’t connect to my Mac. These products are an expensive mistake compared to better brands.

This is my third pair of Shokz headphones. Their technology is excellent. The first pair was for cycling and the second pair for my wife. I dont like wearing big over-the-ear headphones when working and was delighted to find these to use for the counless video calls we all seem to do now. And they are great. But the wireless adapter, which they say gives a wireless connection, was not included in the box. I got in touch with them, and it took them 4 days to respond. They didn't say they would send me a new one - they said I should send them photos of the box and what I had received. Did they think I was lying or hadn't looked in the box? Maybe they will take another 4 days to look at the photos. Then another 4 days to send me the adapter. Disappointing.

So impressed. Recommended by a customer and I’ve finally taken the plunge. It’s great for speech, listening to audio from video etc. Quality is great. Unsuitable, I feel, for music though.

Microphone stopped working after 3 months

If you are thinking of buying, you should definitely spend the extra money for this set of headphones. The product is light weight and does not bother my ears. The boom mic is excellent. My wife always complained about being able to hear me on my old (other brand) of headphones. I tried calling in the car wash and the other end could not hear all the racket that was going on with the blowers and spray nozzles. Even took out most wind noise, standing outside in the wind. Comes with a nice case, battery life has been great. I have been able to go 3 to 4 days listening to music and talking. The app is nice but does not have a lot of options for EQ. Pretty much music or talking are your two options. I have not had issues with it vibrating my face off when talking to people on the phone. And like I said tried it in the car wash and was able to hear the person on the other end just fine. The music volume is pretty loud as well. I run it as low as I can and it is a little loud sometimes to hear things in the room. Connects instantly when turned on. Definitely worth the money. Only complaint would be the pictures in the product description are a little different than the actual device. Mine uses USB-C to charge not the magnetic charger.

Fantastic head set,having the boom mic makes the difference,I use it in the truck, so clear, people have no idea where I am or what I’m talking on. Connect it to my phone in the morning,lasts all day, doesn’t take long to recharge.

Top product, draagt erg prettig. Je voelt m bijna niet. Erg duidelijk met gesprek en je verliest niet t contact met de buitenwereld door de open bone constructie. Top !!!!
