This newly designed and typeset 2nd edition of the popular Ignatius RSV Catholic Bible is a contemporary English translation that revises archaic language of the first edition, but avoids dumbing-down the text. It retains the beauty of the RSV language that makes the Ignatius Bible such a joy to read. Now the only contemporary Catholic Bible translation in standard English is even more beautiful in word and design, and much easier to read with the large print! This large print version, in three different versions - leather, hard and soft covers - makes this popular yet beautiful Bible translation more accessible and appealing to a wider reading audience. The Large Print Edition is the perfect option for devotional reading for those who prefer larger print, have impaired vision, or are reading from a lectern. It features large, clear type and additional materials of interest to all readers. Special Features: Completely re-designed and newly typeset with large 14 point font size The RSV, second Catholic edition, is the only Bible translation that uses standard (non-feminist) English and is in conformity with the Church's translation guidelines found in the Vatican document, Liturgiam Authenticam 16 pages of color maps Large 7 x 10 trim size Handsome dark blue cover with gold icons Review: A Brilliant lectionary (Bible) - Hello I am Ryan Trundle, I'm a Catholic and a father of three; living in Liverpool England Uk. I have got a lot of Bibles and I have read a lot more from The Jewish translation to the King James version and many more but I know the majority of the New Testament and therefore it didn't make a difference to me if the word's was 'And he Spake unto them' or if it just said 'And He said to them'. Well this I will say the New Bible the RSV2 is very good. Now I do admit to being a complainer when the parables aren't in the bible in entirety. I believe yes the parables should be a section in the bible rather than only being in the teachings of the old and new testaments (we can't have everything I suppose.) But never the less. The font is crystal clear and the pages are of a good GSM (meaning you can't read ten pages through one.) This edition has been well condensed but it hasn't lost the love. I have spotted the occasional misplaced word but it does not affect the bible in any way. I would recommend this version of the bible. All Catholics and Christians should have a copy of this version. I do miss the Manasseh Prayer it is nice to read. Judith is in full. (Judith I am not your enemy!) I do love the fact that the Apocrypha is included in near fullness Amazing. Now the best part of this bible is that it is direct and I have read direct translations from the scriptures and it is near the same from 2000 plus years ago to modern day now without the oldie worldie snare that truly isn't needed. If you want the Truth as the truth then this bible is for you. Love it like it loves you. Thank you for reading. Review: The News about God - I love my Bible, really good book to have, it’s extraordinary, it’s not just a book it’s The Book. Thank you ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Massive size of Catholic bible, soft cover *by A***R on 11 September 2025* Wasn’t aware that the size is massive and it’s very heavy too (my fault that I didn’t check the description carefully). I was actually looking for a handy, pocket-sized one. But anyway, it’s actually good for those needing Catholic Bible in large fonts. Nice paper material and was shipped securely. Overall, pleased with this purchase. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ignatius Bible - The Great Adventure: Bible Indexing Tabs (2017) - The Bible Timeline Chart --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.sa/products/67440417-ignatius-bible-rsv](https://www.desertcart.com.sa/products/67440417-ignatius-bible-rsv) --- *Product available on Desertcart Saudi Arabia* *Store origin: SA* *Last updated: 2026-11-05*
