Brilliant bit of kit. I tried my wetsuit on a week before an event and it rubbed terribly resulting in friction burns which didn’t fully heal before my event. This was a game changer and I had no wetsuit rub after a 4 hour swim. Highly recommended!

I have been competing in 1 mile open water swimming events for about five years and every time am left with what looks like 3rd degree burns on my neck that are painful for weeks. My BlueSeventy wetsuit is great quality, so I really didn't want to look into buying another as they are so expensive, but using Vaseline/gels/lubes weren't working for my neck chafe. I am swimming the Dart10k this September and knew something had to be done, otherwise I would have no neck left afterwards! So I read the reviews of the Mugiro Neck Protector and thought i'd give it a go...it's cheaper than a new wetsuit. I swam 5k this Saturday open water as training in my wetsuit with the neck protector and a bit of KY Jelly and it was superb, no chafing/burns at all and it felt totally comfortable. It really is like a second, thicker skin for your neck. Am so pleased, i'll be wearing for the Dart10k next month and would totally recommend!

I decided to buy one of these on the recommendation of a friend who I sea swim with. I had suffered continual problems with a rash, despite copious amounts of anti-rash lub', on the back of my neck after switching to Winter sea swimming with an additional thermal layer underneath my wetsuit (never have an issue with the wetsuit on its on). What a difference, with a little bit of anti - chaf lubrication on my neck, no more rash. The neck protector is very soft rubber and sits snuggly underneath my thermal layer and has become an invaluable piece of Winter open water kit, a great buy and well worth the money.

I found this to be comfortable for 2 - 3Km freshwater swims although I don't have too much trouble with those anyway provided I use some lubricant. On a 6Km swim it protected the usual area of rubbing perfectly (back of the neck on the main breathing side, just above the wetsuit neckline) but I had a typically bad rash near the hairline on the opposite side (the top edge of the Protector). I'm not sure what to do about that, other than improve my swim technique.

I got it for my 12 year old son who was always getting a sore neck from a wet suit. This little neck protector did wonders - no more sore neck, my son was spending hours in a sea, pain free!

I am now able to swim in my wetsuit for longer (the pain in my neck used to cause me to have to stop after half an hour) and without ending up with a red raw neck. I've been looking for something to solve this issue for a number of years and have tried all sorts of things - this is the first thing ever to solve the problem. It could maybe do with a slightly longer lip at the front to help it stay under the wetsuit but that doesn't affect the rating I am giving because after two swims so far I am just really pleased to have kept the skin on my neck unbroken.

Finally! something to stop my wetsuit chafing my neck! Tried many sticks, gels etc but this collar is the only thing that works for me. Go for small if you are torn between the2 sizes as quite stretchy. Very light and comfortable.

I have always had neck rub from my wetsuit, particularly in salt water and even when using products such as glide. I bought one of these after being recommended to do so by a friend and have used it in both salt and and fresh water. I recently completed a 5k sea swim and had no neck rub at all. It definitely works for me. I am female, slim to average build and bought a small size.

This soft silicon neck band has done its job of protecting my neck from chafing when swimming in my wetsuit. Very comfortable to wear - very happy with this purchase.

Nage en mer toute l'année. Testé par 3 fois. Plus aucune brûlure au niveau du cou..... bref, enfinnnn. Très facile à enfiler, matière très agréable, se fait vite oublier. À rincer et remettre dans sa boîte. Livraison dans les temps.. RAS

I literally could not swim in any of my wetsuits without bad, hickey type cuts on my neck. A friend recommended this to me and it is absolutely PERFECT. Best $ i've spent on Tri gear ever (except for my brand new bike :)). Very stretchy and stays in place and prevents me from looking like a teenager with neck hickeys.
