I'm not an expert matcha drinker, but I have had enough matcha lattes that I've had good and bad ones. When I started making them at home, I knew to order ceremonial, not culinary grade, and have really been enjoying the Spring Zen blend of this matcha. Unfortunately, I've been using it up pretty fast, so I needed to try something a little more economical. This Premium Cafe grade seemed like it would be a safe choice for my latte needs and the larger size would definitely last longer. I tried it today and I actually preferred the flavor more than the other blend, it was more pronounced. This blend is perfect for lattes, where the Spring Zen would be better for just straight matcha. I preferred the smell of the Spring Zen as I whisked it to the Premium Cafe. Very happy with both blends and have really enjoyed getting into matcha and matcha lattes with them.

I went with this brand after several late late nights of research and I currently only drink matcha with milk currently, so this one was perfect. I'll eventually go towards ceramonial grade, but for now, I'm fine. The aroma was nice, but 10/10 would not recommend drinking this grade by itself. Too astringent and bitter.

I'm used to drinking ceremonial matcha, and I wanted to try Matcha Moon's Daily matcha as it was more affordable for how much matcha I drink. It's perfect for cold brews and lattes! I haven't baked with it, but I find it perfectly suited for making drinks. I've tried drinking it straight after a quick whisk with a chasen, which actually wasn't as terrible as I thought considering this is culinary grade. As for the matcha itself, I like the quality - it's a very bright green and it definitely tastes fresh. Packaging is great, but the opaque plastic cap inside the tin can gets stuck inside the tin can when I push it in too hard. Excited to try Matcha Moon's Ceremonial grade once I run through this product.
