NOW Foods, Organic Oat Bran, Source of Fiber and Protein, USA Grown, Non-GMO Project Verified, 14-Ounce (Packaging May Vary)

This NOW Foods organic oat bran is an excellent source of fiber and when prepared as a hot cereal has a rich and creamy texture. The package I received had a 2027 expiration date so I knew that the product was very fresh. The only down side to this organic oat bran is that I found tiny black crystals resembling poppy seeds in it. They are actually oat groats that have become slightly charred due to localized overheating during the industrial kilning process. I like to pick them out before cooking (which isn't easy because they are so small). I tried mashing a banana into the hot oat bran with just a dash of 100% real maple syrup to sweeten and topped with almond milk. It tasted so good that I bought a second and a third package! This product is a good value for the price paid. I actually prefer the NOWFOODS oat bran to the Quaker brand which I used to buy which is double the price and usually out of stock!

I love the taste / texture of this oat bran, plus the fact that it's instant ---- very easy to make, and a great source of fiber. The price is good too, and I like to buy several bags at a time.

I love the taste of this stuff and the texture is amazing. I've tried it in so many different things like shakes and blueberry pancakes and all kinds of good stuff like that and every time it's never let me down. But my favorite is to use it in my shakes and it soaks up the juice that I throw in there that it's really a good kind of juice, it's that V8 juice the green stuff. Or the blueberry. It sucks all that into it and then throw some soy milk or coconut milk or hemp milk and make your shake after that it's amazing.

Love this stuff. I add a scoop to my waffle mix for extra grains and nutrients. Much healthier than plain Oats.

Taste very good. Would buy again.

It's the real deal and I know where my fiber is coming from. We mix in with our morning oatmeal at a 50/50 ratio, also with our oatmeal cookies, it gives the cookies a toasted oats flavor and chewy texture that is delicious, filling and satisfying.

Wife loves this stuff and eats it every day. Good start to the morning I guess but she’s crazy about it lol. I think it also helps keep her regular when it comes to bowel movements.

Came overnight with Prime. Great price, ground perfectly. Just what the doctor ordered, literally for me to try naturally lowering my cholesterol with this and a mix of flaxseed.
