How can i set this to ramping mode? i bought this but can not understand how do i set this to the ramping mode.

I have Anduril and with the light on , its 3 clicks to switch between ramp and step. 4 clicks activates momentary mode. (If you are on Anduril 2, there is also a Simple UI and Advanced UI... In Simple the 3 click to ramp/step is inactive. To switch to Advanced it is 10 clicks with hold on the last click. You can also factory reset with 13H that is 13 clicks hold the last click. Hope that helps someone.)

If you put it on a certain mode like the brightest, can you just use the tail switch to turn it off and on without having to change the mode everytime

Yes you can. I always leave it on turbo mode (the brightest). It doesn't use up the battery life doing so. It's an excellent flashlight. I use it camping and all other uses I can find for it. I also carry it in my EDC.
