Two small dings and scratched paint. A shop gave an estimate of almost $1,500 and about a week to get repairs done. I already had 2 open claims related to a house fire so intended to pay cash for the door dings. But I thought, what if I pay to fix the door and then weeks later the car is damaged again? So, I ordered this tool to see what I could do on my own. Happy to say, I was about to reduce the ding size by 95%, and then I bought a kit with matching paint and clear-coat for the scratch. The ding was too ‘sharp’ to pull out completely, but reduced to a 1/4”, barely depressed area. It’s not perfect, but hardly noticeable. Now I won’t stress over keeping the car ‘perfect’. The kit is easy to use, well worth the cost, effort and time. Might come in handy for vehicles of other family, or friends.
