2009 Yamaha XV1700. A new bike to me was really killing my shoulders and back. It took 50 minutes to install. Simple hand tools, a hex wrench and a 19 mm socket with extension, and maybe some Loctite in a thick towel to protect your tank. I believe my steel braided cables are aftermarket so I can’t attest to stock cables. Mine fit fine and aren’t tight or stretched. According to my measurements, it lifted the bars about 2 1/2 inches and 1 inch rear word. HUGE difference in the way I sit now and way more comfortable. Only issue I see is no directions provided and might screw up a beginner mechanic. On most motorcycles, you tighten the top bolts first all the way down and then tighten down the two lowers. As best I can tell that is the way these are designed.

Good risers fit and look great happy with purchase

I would suggest using extention wires for throttle, brakes and speedometer.

Item was defective. One riser had more of a bend than the other so it caused the bar to not sit straight.

This is a high quality product and better then expected.
