Instructions were very clear, and the team responded quickly and thoroughly to all of my questions about the mold test results. I used this mold test kit on multiple occasions. Very easy to understand directions and easy to use. You don't need to send anything in to find out if you have mold. Within 3 days you can see the results for yourself. You get a book with pictures of the different types of mold to compare with what grows in the petri dishes. If you're not sure just send them a picture of your petri dishes and for no additional charge they will send you a detailed report on what you have growing in you spaces. I wouldn't use anything else. It's really a no brainer!

I bought this kit to test for mold in my home and classroom (I’m a teacher) due to some severe and prolonged sinus issues. The longer you let the Petri dishes sit after collection, the more mold you will collect. It was actually a very interesting growth process to watch! I emailed pictures for identification and received a response in less than 24 hours. Very please with the product and the customer service!!

I liked this product. It was like doing a fun science experiment on my home! It can't accurately tell you the quantity of mold spores in your space, but it can tell you what kinds of mold you have and if there's a ton, or not that much. And this is still valuable information! The kit includes an ID guide for once you've exposed the agar in the petri dishes. I found it hard to identify my mold from the photos they included. Maybe my mold was weird. But the company offers the great service of IDing the mold for you if you email them high quality photos. I did that, and got detailed answers the same day. Nice!

Highly recommend this product. Easy, affordable. It works & they give you everything you need and are there to help. I submitted my photos and I received answers in an hour. I also sent multiple pictures as other dishes progressed and they still helped me. They give you identification and information on the mold. I’m still shocked from the price to the quality of test supplies, results, To the customer service. Worth every penny and more!

Edit: 10/10 recommend. The dishes take 3-4 days to start growing. I emailed the photos to the lab and in less than an hour received a detailed report. Could not recommend this company enough So far so good. It appears to be exactly as described. Delivery was quick, and was easy to use. Waiting on results and will come back to edit the review.

This was very informative to use, but results were slow. The box came complete with agar dishes, swabs, labels, a very complete package. The directions said it would take a day to see mold after letting the dishes sit for an hour, but mine took five days before mold started to show, then two weeks before more significant growth was seen, then after I forgot about them festering in the garage, a month later they became the horror show you see in the last picture. I didn't need analysis or anything, I just needed an excuse to scrub the house down and maybe get an air quality test later. The kit was complete, gave results, but in my case it just took a long time.

Clear Results: The accompanying guide with pictures of common mold types made it easy to interpret the results and see exactly what was growing on the plate. Fast and Reliable: The test provided a quick and reliable result, confirming the presence of mold in the area I was concerned about. Cons: Shelf Life/Storage is a Major Issue: This is the most important point to be aware of. The kit comes with six tests, but I only needed to use one. I stored the remaining five unused test kits inside a closet for future use. When I went back to get them for a picture for this review, I was shocked to find that all five of the unused, unopened kits had grown mold inside their packaging. I would like to say that because I opened the outside packaging (clear plastic wrap) that might have compromised the rest of them. I did not open the individual containers. So I'm not sure. Conclusion and Recommendation: This is a good product for its intended purpose: a quick, reliable, and user-friendly DIY mold test. However, due to the issue I experienced, I would strongly caution against purchasing the multi-pack unless you plan to use all of the tests immediately. If you only need one or two tests, I highly recommend buying only what you need. Do not plan on storing these for later use. This is a great tool, but the value of the six-pack is lost if the extra kits are unusable after a short time in storage.

Worked well and the seller is great at helping identify mold! I sent them an email with my photos and they broke it down for me. I swabbed some window frames and also sampled still air in some rooms.

Following the easy to follow instructions, the testing performed well. I am grateful that the documentation provided showed and explained the different kinds of molds, very informative. I also sent pictures to their lab to confirm what I was seeing. Dispote the warning it could take up the 3 weeks to get a report, it was done the same day. The report was easy to follow. I appreciated the possible effects on our health for each type of mold. All on all, I would use this product from this vendor again.

I highly recommend, it’s expensive for what they are, but they are a good quality. I recently used six of them to test various areas of my home. I uploaded the pictures to ChatGPT who identified the strains and how to remediate any issues. -I wasn’t surprised about my second closet, there was a water incursion last year, and I thought I had dried it out before I loaded everything back in. -The closet was in the bedroom and the plate right beside my bed was clean which points to my HEPA filter in the bedroom working very well. -Shocked that my bathroom is pretty good and -not surprised that my living room and dining room are pretty much the exact same because they are adjacent to each other.
